    Morbark tw280phb

I was surprised to hear a guy's Vermeer 9" only had 35hp. This is a similar size but much much power at 57 or 59hp. My fuel tank is not venting properly. I can get it to take fuel up to the bottom of the filler neck then it fills the neck, but not the top 3+" of the tank. If I slosh the tank...

    Latest helmet comms

The helmet clamp kit is the cheap part. New wires, speaker and mic are worth the extra that it costs for the compatible 30k. We're 2-3 people working together, 4 in June. Good to know the 30k work with the 10s.

    Knee ascender attachment

I use elastic cord, doubled and tied into pockets for adjustability. I general pass it over my other shoulder and down to my gear loop the same side as my floating ascender. Left knee, passed on the right side of my neck, to the left , rear gear loop.

Using canola oil for bar lube - oiling issues now. Never in the past

Drain canola before storage, cut with petroleum oil. Drain fuel. Start and idle until stalling. Store saw. $0.02 If it sits in the repair bench for a while, it's the same as storing it, as to canola getting funky. Ask me how I know (months).

What has everyone used to pull small brush/trees?

Would it be practical to hitch a bunch of little trees to a rope and pull with some power source where one tree gets pulled free before the next loaded up. Manual works, but a power winch/ capstan is a help and can pile things up in an area to ease disposal.

    Mysterious echo2511t issue

Piston stops are made by manufacturers. Rope can be stuck in the spark plug hole. I spin my clutches off with an impact driver.

    contents of personal rigging kit

I can't add anything to this thread about personal gear as I have everthing with me and use little of it. A natural crotch burner for can be fair-leaded through a biner on a sling to keep the rope on parts to be removed. If pruning a limb, choking a sling to prevent the type from sliding into...

The ash parasol preservation prune looks like this at the bottom, ergo the ladder in a previous picture. I need a brush cutter for the ivy after pulling it away from the base.
