Okay, so now we have full disclosure. Please feel free to sing the praises of socialism, while you justify sending your kids to a product of capitalism, ie. private school. Your hypocrisy makes any further arguments from you irrelevant. Do you think your kids are better than everybody else's? Are you trying to give them an unfair advantage over other kids in their age group? Why don't you explain to young Levi why you intentionally broke with the socialist mantra you claim to defend? Explain to Treefongu, Treetopflyer, and Frashdog why you only want to play along with the commune to the point where you don't.
Because that's where it gets real; doesn't it Mac? You're responsible for those little people who you love more than life itself. When you're honest with yourself, their future is worth more to you than to give them over to the mismanagement of the state. How would Bernie feel about you not cooperating by sending your kids to private school? You're dragging down the averages of all the other kids--right? Bernie will see to it that you no longer have the right to send your kids to private school. Oh, he may promise you that you can keep your private school. "You can keep your doctor. You can keep your plan." Sound familiar? But, in the end--those rights will have to go away under socialism. All of that individuality and free way of thinking will have to give way to the better good of the society. If that private school stays open under Bernie--every kid in your town should be allowed the privilege of attending (for free). And, those teachers should be unionized and paid the same as all the other teachers (probably more for those private school teachers). So, essentially, that school will be public under Bernie. Or, if he can't get it done; under his socialist successor. See, your kids really belong to the state, according to liberals. Hillary wrote a book, 'It Takes a Village'. Barrack grew up in that village. And Bernie is going to turn your nice little town into a communal village--complete with hunger, lice, and a life expectancy of 45.
The government has the single ability to ruin everything they touch. Bernie and Hillary's answer to every problem is: more government. Bernie, specifically, gauges his success on the equality of results; not the equality of opportunity. According to liberal doctrine, if your kids score higher on their SATs, they were unfairly advantaged. This will not be permitted. That might allow them to get into a better college. They might graduate earning a higher income. They might drive nicer cars and live in bigger houses. Sorry--that's all a "no-no". Liberals cannot have winners and losers. We all have to equally be losers.
We haven't even talked about the money you're spending to send them to this private school--you elitist. That could be taxed away from you and given to the homeless. Where's your heart Mac?
