Respectfully, my opinion is at variance with yours, even if based on nothing else than personal experience as a former member of an Ontario volunteer FD.
CYOA and potential litigation considerations dictate how things get done.
Am suspending disbelief.
The company is rickety.
Employees want to mutiny.
The phone never rings.
I think I would have to pay somebody to buy my company.
I think members here have provided you with great advice and contacts.
I also think that entry into the North American market is gonna be a tough nut to crack, even if you offer a quality product at a decent price point.
Your competition on this side of the pond produces a plethora of quality...
.........and one that is a very fussy eater with respect to rope diameter, condition, and construction, climber's weight, gravitational pull of the moon etc.
I like the grillon, with Yale 11.7 rope (blue moon) for replacement lanyards. I've tried hydraulic hose anti-chafe protection (cordura?) over the rope for a bit longer lanyard life. The grillon doesnt like pine pitch very much at all. Probably nothing does.
Found the zillion to be way too...
Eventually, the Martian leader and his bodyguards breach the bunker where Dale has been taken and the former reduces Decker to the size of an insect before killing him
Right. As differentiated from the BCAE
(Arborist Emperor) which represents the absolute pinnacle of lucidity.
edit: please excuse silliness on account of depression from looking at thermometer this morning.
I read a news report from a couple of years ago that Nick B. has some communications tower climbing experience. Hopefully he can provide insight or tips for climbing that light pole.

@ Arborvista - hey Phil, how 'bout you share some insight about the major headaches and frustrations you experienced with your Teupen? Dead motherboards made in Germany, etc. Now Bartlett can experience the joy, eh!
Of course with your 40 or so posts on Treebuzz spread out over the last 14...
Clearly a major discrepancy in the OP's and UP's recollections of events.
I can understand the frustration of having equipment repeatedly break down. Especially a $$$ machine made in Italy from parts sourced who knows where.
I've got no dog in this fight, (but am a business owner who operates rusty relics). It appears like UP has done their level best to get issues resolved.
Slagging a company online to whom you owe money on a part shipped to you in good faith seems weird.
"The ultimate measure of a man is not...
I'm not a brummel guy, Brocky, but I think you are correct.
"Because there was not enough space for a long bury on each tail, the rigger apparently relied on the Brummel lock alone to carry the load".
I'm still using the replacement for the recall and it works fine without slippage on Yale 11.7's
I did subsequently purchase another ZZ for a spare which has seen very little usage.
The Reon Rounds gizmo is on the wish list.
I dont have much affection for that Zillion thingy lanyard adjuster...
I dont think your glow plugs are the problem since you dont have smoke or fumes coming out of the exhaust when cranking it over. Fuel isn't getting injected. Have you tried adding some diesel antigel/deicer like Kleenflo to your fuel tank? Make sure your battery is up to snuff since diesels...
