    HH 2

The section of tubing incorporated into the Hitch Hiker 2 hitch seems to be working quite well. It effectively makes the "sweet-spot" of the hitch a little broader which, in turn, makes tying the hitch more repeatable without the need for re-adjusting the length. This concept of adding some...

The Aerial Friction Brake is here!

The TreeStuff.com AFB (Aerial Friction Brake) is a high productivity tool with a capability that is difficult or nearly impossible to accomplish with other rigging devices. The major benefit is that AFB can provide controlled lowering friction in both directions. And, the AFB can control this...

    Terrible Chipper Fatality

IMO, there cannot be *any* excuses for this. "It was his first day on this job." !!! Leaving a 19 year old at the chipper, alone on his first day, has to border on criminally negligent management. God rest his soul and bless the family.

    The BEST so far.

They're about $18us for a box of 40 (12g) = $.45 for a full shot of 80-90'. A hi-volume bicycle floor pump will give about the same result with 6-7 strokes.

    The BEST so far.

The APTA (AIR POWERED TREE ACCESS) is slick! -- slick as deer guts on a door knob. I wasn't sure about this tool. But, it is really is great. It will put a 12oz. throw-weight anywhere I want. It's fun & easy to use. A 12g CO2 is sufficient for almost everything. But, a 16g will send a line...

Here's a couple of good options for lanyards, IMO ... based upon Sterling TriTech -- with Technora sheath, heat and cut 'resistant'. https://www.treestuff.com/store/catalog.asp?item=15216 https://www.treestuff.com/store/catalog.asp?item=1057

    Matt Cornell Rope Saddle

What Steve said. I've come from the ProGear2. It's a loose saddle/harness, too ... meant to have belt higher and the leg-pads lower. Also, I see a wallet in the back pocket ... send that to me ... pinch fixed ... :inocente:

    Preferred method of Canopy Anchor

Good questions. The tagline does go all the way to the ground -- it is a pull-down, after-all. It doesn't get any more in-the-way than any other pull-down. It's 9mm Yalon {Yale Cordage} that came in Box-O-Rope from TreeStuff.com. It's strong enough to bail-out and rap-down if necessary...

Delta TIP with Tagline Pull-down & captive box wrench: Easily set, moved & reset. Relatively easy pull-down even with a few redirects.
