Good questions. The tagline does go all the way to the ground -- it is a pull-down, after-all. It doesn't get any more in-the-way than any other pull-down. It's 9mm Yalon {Yale Cordage} that came in Box-O-Rope from TreeStuff.com. It's strong enough to bail-out and rap-down if necessary...
