    Use whatever hardware you prefer....the point is an adjustable tail length. An alpine isn't adjustable.

It should be noted that the angle from the terminal rigging point to the drifting redirect will create some nasty lateral forces. Not the end of the world if you keep your loads static and choose appropriate rigging points...
