Makita Battery Chainsaws - sale pending

Want to sell this all together, everything is in good working condition, used sparingly since last summer as they just don't fit into the quiver. - Makita XCU06, very lightweight, decent power, great for pruning. As others have said, this is more of competitor to a Silky than your 200, but it...

Any experience with MC Ventures Truck Bodies?

I've been trying to get quotes for a chip truck build with not much success. I have a quote from MC Ventures in Florida and they so far have seemed pretty good, more responsive than anyone else. Has anyone dealt with them? Thanks!

?Kevlar kite string for throw line?

I've had old retired kite surfing line in my second throw cube for years and it basically performs the same as throw line. I'm not familiar with that particular line but just like throw line there are differences in characteristics one brand to another

    Lithium powered saws?

    Removing EAB trees

Anyone else notice white ash, even right next to a green ash seem to be a few years behind as far as die back goes? I’ve consistently seen this, are there any reasons/theories on that?

    rope runner pro

Yeah the first time I thought to myself I must have done something stupid /it was a fluke but then hearing others have same experience and having it happen again says otherwise

    rope runner pro

I have had this happen a few times and I'm still not sure what triggers it, but all of a sudden there will be pieces on the ground. Thankfully it's been during setup before I'm up a tree. I really like it for most everything, but am bit disappointed with the not so easy midline on/off rope...

Watch out for those bald face hornets!

I got super lucky earlier this week, I had set my line in a huge river birch which had a small white pine growing underneath it that I had to kinda climb through on my ascent. (Looking back at it, I heard buzzing as I headed up and somehow didn't think anything of it.) Then, as I started...

What do you use for a base anchor?

A bit expensive, but ART Snakeanchor is really nice and simple with added bonus of shock cushion should you need it. Having any separate anchor allows you to easily choose exact tail length you want which I find to be very useful.

    Chip Truck Build Help Please

Thanks for input guys, working in tight residential spots, we definitely need a top to contain the chips. I think anything going across will get in the way too much when loading wood but yeah I think a roof that folds to the front will be the ticket. I'm just a bit hesitant there's something...

    E-Sign Documents

Sorry missed your question...it handles all of the invoicing and can sync those numbers to quick books, we use the invoicing and it’s great but the syncing is actually the one feature i don’t use with it so can’t really offer much more help with that

    Chip Truck Build Help Please

We're looking to get a new chip truck to better compliment our two man, tree-mek crew. While our current chip truck has a removable top (southco I believe), we hardly use it as it takes quite a bit of time, effort and space to remove and then remount. We want to be able to load wood quickly...
