    The lower bar is your reference point, I’ve never felt vulnerable using a TW unless I’m doing something sketchy, in which case I have my thigh tight up against the safety bar. Which incidentally is always working perfectly.

    Mine popped 2 or 3 times after I had the rotator apparatus fitted. Then, it didn’t. I’d advise against too much stripping out until you’re sure it really is an issue.
