  • Experienced Climbers who can produce safely and efficiently
  • Skilled Crane / Tree-Mek Operators who understand production and crew flow
  • People who:
    • Actively seek knowledge (you’re getting better or you’re falling behind)
    • Think ahead and solve problems (no babysitting)
    • Take ownership of outcomes, not excuses

Hey boss, that sounds like a great company, but you should know that the most successful job listings around here tend to give some hard numbers regarding pay ranges. Transparency goes a long way.
 
Climbers: $25-$55/hr
Groundsmen: $17-$28/hr
Machine/Equipment operators: We will give you the first born son of whichever manager you like.

There's a template that you are free to use if you don't have the kind of time it takes to develop one.

On a different note I always read job ads, not that anyone would hire me except maybe as a drug mule, but I like to keep a finger on the pulse so to speak.

But I look at that ad and I think, Jesus, these guys would be exhausting to be around day after day. All this striving and passion and top tier stuff.
They’re probably putting people off with all this intensity.
