I'll get directions to our shop where meetings and gear check will be. Also directions to the park. I'll get it all here by tomorrow. Disregard the $10 late fee. Just send me $75 and you're two waiver forms, be here by Friday for the meetings, and you'll climb on Saturday with some of the regions best Arbor Jedi!

Thank for the info. Sawyer,

I'm not a compeditive climber, past my prime . . . anyway, I just wanted to watch. I climb recreationally and wanted to see how the pros do it.

FYI on Hotel Louisville room rates:

Ask for available discounts.
For AAA or using a credit card, I got $60/nite for a single; instead of $70.

Ciao for Now ! Greg

Should be sending my waiver and check in soon. Just payed for the crane class, so a bit broke at the moment with rent due and what not, but I definitely plan on being there!! Is there a cut off date for sign up, or are we good as long as we get it to you before the 14th or 15th?

I am planning on not turning anyone away. If you show up for the Friday meeting with your entry fee and both waiters, you will climb on Saturday. If you show up Saturday, we will see. You might just have to run a stop watch, or tech the throwline event.

My Check and Waiver will be in the mail in the morning.

Good man! Probably worth securing your spot for this TCC. I'm going to try not to turn anybody away from climbing, but there may come a point where we have to draw the line.

I can feel the awesomeness building!!!

Whenever Cory gets to the point that he tries to turn a climber away, I will rip off my Assistant to the Chair costume, revealing a full fledged TCC Chair costume and go over his helmet to allow the climber, provided the requisite $75 is paid.

Hey treesandsurf,
Your PM box must be full. Yeah, I do have a guy already that is going to work the week after the 15th. I can ask our Production Manager and see if he has a need for another climber that week.

To Rope Wrenchers climbing in the KTCC on the 15th:

The rope that you use in your system must be identified by the manufacturer as "Suitable for tree climbing". If the manufacturer identifies those ropes as 'suitable', then we can allow them, but you must provide documentation. Specifically, the issue is using a rope like KMIII or HTP for the Rope Wrench versus a rope like Velocity or Tachyon which is designed with shock dampening in mind.

As of now, the answer would be "No". This is per the Head Judge/Tech, Norm Hall.

It is my understanding that sterling said that htp is suitable for tree work. That's third hand info though. Worth looking into for anyone that was thinking of using it. I'm sure your going to need documentation though.

Absotively, posilutely!
Documentation puts the argument to REST.

As of today, I have 21 competitors registered and paid. When next Friday hits I'm pretty sure we will have more than 30 climbers in the mix for Saturday. Yikes!!

All those that are coming to volunteer... bring your A game. We'll need it!
