Congratulations to Cory. 1st place prelims, 1st place master's, and he organized the thing. Has this ever been done before? I doubt it.
The event was a success in every way. Thanks to Cory, Stephan, and everyone who volunteered their time and resources.
Greg, don't worry about calling out the wrong time. I heard the correction and I was just tired and knew that with six minutes and my TIP I couldn't get another station anyway.
Roger, glad you were there, sorry I missed you.

Josie, Nora, Laurie. I think America has some real hope in Josie. That girl can climb and is really going to give the Europeans and southern hemisphere women a run for their money. She was on route to winning the masters outright before dropping her handsaw.

I'm still blown away by the support within this community... everyone truly wants to see the best in each other during these comps. For my first TCC, I learned so much from watching these outstanding climbers making it look so easy.
Josie Spagnolo is a force to rekkon with for the women climbers out there... she kicked the masters, pulling off some old school tricks to get out of a few tight spots. I think she won the respect of all there, esp those of us who'd not seen her climb before. Heartbreaking to see her handsaw fall out of the scabbard near the end. She'll do really well at the ITCC next year!!
Cory was cool and focused, amazing master's climb. I think he even told a few jokes. Crazy talented. And it was so good to see Chris triumph over the hung up line with just seconds to spare to complete his master's!
It was great to put faces to names and meet new friends, and a relief to finally put an end to the angry rivalry between Frax and myself (lol... she solidly kicked my butt!)
I was inspired all day long by everyone around me. Thanks all!!!

...I snuck in and with the big inflatable bouncies at the other end of the park, snuck back out. Had my son in tow, he wasn"t feeling real good. For those I got to see and chat with it was great! for those I missed, I'm bummed I didn't get to say hello. I really can't remember better weather. It is all of the help from out of towners, in addition to the current chair(s), that has really helped KY catch up. If you guys and gals could have seen the "before", you might be able to appreciate what our tcc has become as much as I do. good job Again...

What an event! Got to meet some of America's best climbers. Weather was perfect.
Cory's Master's climb was textbook.
Josie is the real deal and nice as hell too. I came in a distant second...too far back to even choke on her dust!
Laurie received Spirit if the Comp award deservedly for doing what was inhumanly possible to smack that FL bell!

Wow what a great time! Got to spend time with some good friends and make several more. Thanks to everyone who put forth the effort to make all of this possible, I know it has to be a lot of work.
