Fu*%face Von Clownstick

Be nice if Trump gets on the stand though. Then people will see just how stupid he thinks. But I doubt his lawyers will let him take the stand. They (probably) know better than to let him open his mouth on TV.

Meh. Half the country disagrees. Funny how some think he deserves a mugshot, the rest think he deserves a monument. We’re playing with fire here. If we keep it up, odds are things will burn.
Wrong. 54% of Americans think that Trump should be prosecuted for his crimes related to the 2020 election, and 42% are oppposed. Of those 42%, how many do you think will be willing to lay down their lives for the likes of a felonious charlatan like DJT? In other words, fuck him, fuck em, and fuck the threats. Trump and his MAGA cult members will not be the thing that ends nearly 250 years of our democratic republic. We the People will not allow it.

All one has to do is read the history of section 3 of the 14th amendment to understand why it absolutely pertains to Trump and his attempts to overthrow the 2020 election. This horse has left the barn, and as it should, it will become a very big deal leading up to the 2024 elections.

"Conspiring, whether by violence or coercion, to overturn the outcome of an election is precisely what Confederate officers and officeholders did. They didn’t like the outcome of the 1860 election, so they tried to dismantle the United States, first by walking away, then by force."

"That was what Section 3 called “insurrection or rebellion” against the United States government. It’s hard to argue that the same thing didn’t happen in the aftermath of the 2020 election. For symbolic measure, insurrectionists carried the Confederate battle flag into the Capitol on Jan. 6, marching in lock step with an earlier generation of Americans who aspired to end our system of government. That it was a bungled attempt, and that it didn’t work, doesn’t make it different."

So you’re saying there should be a jury? Therefore a trial? And wait for it…. a conviction?

For the 647th time, Trump’s behavior post-election was childish and unacceptable. Why, it might even be enough to render him permanently unelectable. And I think it is. But that’s not enough for his rabid haters. They don’t want justice, they want vengeance. His suffering brings them joy. Not a great look. Personally or politically.
I'm all about second, third.... fiftieth chances. Forgiveness, redemption. All that good stuff. But if one is not sorry for their shit, completely unapologetic. Fuck this guy, he sets a bad example for all his insecure homies that follow him. They all need a hug and a good cry. And to say they're fucking sorry. Then we can heal and move on. The country, society, we need to fix it. Anyone who divides and excludes that's poison. Don't listen.

I mean, if you’re trying to claim the title of law and order party for the Dems, good luck. Their brainwashed pawns tried to burn the country down after George Floyd and Jacob Blake. Luckily they have the state media on their side, so it was all no big deal, and in fact “mostly peaceful”.

Just look how tranquil things seem behind him. People eventually get sick of being treated like addled children. They begin to believe their eyes, not clowns with microphones. Or keyboards.

Just another, "Look over there" and not at what we are talking about.

I didn’t bring up “law and order”. Aren’t you from Minnesota? Remember when your peeps mostly peacefully firebombed that police precinct in Minneapolis? Good times. True patriots.

I trust I’ve made my point. Sorry to have responded to Rico’s derail.

Yes, I am from Minnesota, and it would be helpful to your argument if you were as well, because then you would understand the facts and not those told by the Trump Toddies.

I know where you’re going with this but I watched it happen live. Not many MAGA flags in that crowd.

I also wouldn’t consider The Nation a Trump Toadie.

This hateful author actually described the burning of a police precinct as, “…an unprecedented and beautiful moment in the annals of rebellion in this country. By seizing the cops’ home base, rioters showed millions of people that they could defeat the police.” She also called it what it was; a riot and an insurrection. But no big deal. A truly beautiful moment for “law and order”.

Now back to the topic at hand; the prosecution and likely imprisonment of your political enemy.

I guess you missed the part where the guy who was at the Jan 6th rebellion/insurrection suggesting that the police all kill themselves was in fact the deputy director of the Trumps 2024 presidential campaign in the state of New Hampshire. Thanks for the irrelevant whataboutism though.

You don't see any Biden flags there either. It wasn't about Democrats vs Republicans. But the Trump Toddies made it such when voicing their bullshit.
The Nation.... You keep saying that like "The Nation" encompasses the people of this country. Your, "The Nation" is just a bunch of misguided cult followers. Nothing more than Alex and his band of nut cases.
That is all you can spew out. Toddie stuff.

Thanks for the irrelevant whataboutism though.
No problem. I’ve noticed that in your world whataboutism is really just a synonym for “contradictory evidence” or “inconvenient facts”. I’ll probably keep providing examples as we go.

Facts and evidence? Please. Your answer to a Trump campaign official and Jan 6th insurrectionist telling the police to go “kill” themselves is to point to some thugs burning and smashing shit. Apples and orange, irrelevant as the day is long, and just plain pathetic.

If section 3 of the 14th amendment isn’t enough, we also have a statute in place for men such as Trump.

Title 18, Section 2383 of the U.S. Code says that whoever "incites, sets on foot, assists, or engages in any rebellion or insurrection against the authority of the United States or the laws thereof, or gives aid or comfort thereto, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States."

Contradictory evidence of what? How is anything you keep bringing up evidence of Trump's innocence? And for an 'inconvenient fact', please recall that most of the worst violence with the protests and other unrest, that you just tossed into this conversation as a deflection, happened while Trump was president. We have not seen nearly that level after Biden took office. Biden may be half senile and have a crooked son, but he is still a better president a thousands times over than Trump. Biden has had a calming effect on the country already, even with the MAGA crowd. Trump is not seeing anywhere near the numbers at his rallies that he used to, which is why right-leaning media no longer pans Trump rally crowds with their cameras. Too many empty seats.
