Did they name the rico statutes after you??? And while they were instituted as a powerful tool against the mob they have been grossly misused. The one case I AM familiar with is with Dr. Stanislaw Burzynski who was curing kids of brain cancer in Texas....

There is merit for a non-politico being a president. This has worked out a few times. Vaclav Havel is an example. A comedian in Ukraine seems to be doing well. The pseudo real estate developer, well, say no more. He makes his success by not paying bills.There are many non-politicos who have become amazing Senators, Reps in DC as well as state office. Seems like the non-politicos are less entangled.

Senator Paul Wellstone seems to have been one of those few before he died in the plane crash. I've never read or heard of any failings in his integrity and dedication to the good of the country. If he were living he would be setting a good example for the clot of ner'do wells populating Congress these days. Too bad none of them would get the message.

Have you ever actually listened to what Kennedy has to say? So many lefties believe the hit pieces and won't even listen to him.
