Meh. Half the country disagrees. Funny how some think he deserves a mugshot, the rest think he deserves a monument. We’re playing with fire here. If we keep it up, odds are things will burn.

Not half the country disagrees. Only the loud, way out in lala land hardcore Trumpers. Right now, he could run against Captain Kangaroo and he would lose.Meh. Half the country disagrees. Great analysis. That’s not really what happened here though. The judge was doing what judges are supposed to do and remained impartial, strictly limiting their judgments by applying the law as it is written. This is one of the reasons why it matters so much that you not only understand what you are talking about, but that you also choose your words carefully and ensure that they state exactly, and clearly, the specific idea that you wanted to convey. I have seen this issue come up many times in my life, and it’s something that has pissed me off before, but also something that has benefited me. “Standing” is having a dog in the fight. If you’re not being specifically and directly injured by someone’s or some groups actions, then you can’t sue them because you don’t actually have a proverbial dog in that fight. While I don’t believe that Donny should be allowed to run again, the law, as it is currently written, does in fact protect him from that angle of attack. If Biden, or any other candidate wanted to file that suit, they might have a case. The fact that they haven’t says to me that they like things the way they are for now, as it fuels fears that the orange clown might take the office if they don’t vote for the blue clown, thereby preserving their chances at maintaining the status quo.
Wrong. 54% of Americans think that Trump should be prosecuted for his crimes related to the 2020 election, and 42% are oppposed. Of those 42%, how many do you think will be willing to lay down their lives for the likes of a felonious charlatan like DJT? In other words, fuck him, fuck em, and fuck the threats. Trump and his MAGA cult members will not be the thing that ends nearly 250 years of our democratic republic. We the People will not allow it.Meh. Half the country disagrees. Funny how some think he deserves a mugshot, the rest think he deserves a monument. We’re playing with fire here. If we keep it up, odds are things will burn.

I'm all about second, third.... fiftieth chances. Forgiveness, redemption. All that good stuff. But if one is not sorry for their shit, completely unapologetic. Fuck this guy, he sets a bad example for all his insecure homies that follow him. They all need a hug and a good cry. And to say they're fucking sorry. Then we can heal and move on. The country, society, we need to fix it. Anyone who divides and excludes that's poison. Don't listen. So you’re saying there should be a jury? Therefore a trial? And wait for it…. a conviction?
For the 647th time, Trump’s behavior post-election was childish and unacceptable. Why, it might even be enough to render him permanently unelectable. And I think it is. But that’s not enough for his rabid haters. They don’t want justice, they want vengeance. His suffering brings them joy. Not a great look. Personally or politically.

Just another, "Look over there" and not at what we are talking about.I mean, if you’re trying to claim the title of law and order party for the Dems, good luck. Their brainwashed pawns tried to burn the country down after George Floyd and Jacob Blake. Luckily they have the state media on their side, so it was all no big deal, and in fact “mostly peaceful”.

Just look how tranquil things seem behind him. People eventually get sick of being treated like addled children. They begin to believe their eyes, not clowns with microphones. Or keyboards.
Yes, I am from Minnesota, and it would be helpful to your argument if you were as well, because then you would understand the facts and not those told by the Trump Toddies.I didn’t bring up “law and order”. Aren’t you from Minnesota? Remember when your peeps mostly peacefully firebombed that police precinct in Minneapolis? Good times. True patriots.
I trust I’ve made my point. Sorry to have responded to Rico’s derail.

I guess you missed the part where the guy who was at the Jan 6th rebellion/insurrection suggesting that the police all kill themselves was in fact the deputy director of the Trumps 2024 presidential campaign in the state of New Hampshire. Thanks for the irrelevant whataboutism though.I mean, if you’re trying to claim the title of law and order party for the Dems, good luck. No problem. I’ve noticed that in your world whataboutism is really just a synonym for “contradictory evidence” or “inconvenient facts”. I’ll probably keep providing examples as we go.Thanks for the irrelevant whataboutism though.
