I don't see anyone arguing against men identifying as women or women identifying as men.

The objections to gender theory are that they are demanding that men have the right to enter woman's and female children's bathrooms, change rooms, bath houses, jails, and sports.

Also that they are pushing this on vulnerable children with devestating and irreversible consequences. That children are being encouraged and allowed to surgically and chemicaly mutilate and castrate themselves. It should disturb everyone.

That is not hating anyone. Nor is it infringing on anyone's rights to identify however they like.

It is also very intellectually dishonest to make the claim that these people are motivated by hate.

What you choose to believe and how you choose to treat a person are separate things. This isn't a debate about making people believe things they don't want to, it is a debate about how to treat someone who is different than you, in spite of what you think. If you're saying that calling someone by a different pronoun than what you believe suits them is somehow a hardship for you, it may be you who is the fragile one. If you tell me your last name is pronounced very differently than what I think it should be based on the way it looks to me and how it's spelled, I'm going to say it the way you want me to say it because it is YOUR identity that I'm talking about, not mine.

Everyone is different to me, but they’re either male or female (except for a minuscule minority of genuinely intersex)

If you're saying that calling someone by a different pronoun than what you believe suits them is somehow a hardship for you, it may be you who is the fragile one.

No great hardship, but I’m unwilling to pander to their mental illness (especially the “they/them“ brigade)

If you tell me your last name is pronounced very differently than what I think it should be based on the way it looks to me and how it's spelled, I'm going to say it the way you want me to say it because it is YOUR identity that I'm talking about, not mine.

The French consistently mispronounce my name, I have no issue with it, I dont even correct them.

Ironic how another group demands people respect their liberties based on the "Trinty", a concept the majority of followers dont understand or can even explain. Furthermore this group of people is the main driver of the unwillingness to accept other peolpes request to be respected based on what they believe.

The fact that you believe that mental illness is at the crux of anything other than binary gender identity is a conversation ender for me. We're coming from different world views and mine is much more accepting than yours.

You are making a wrong assumption with the use of the word, PRETEND.
If you have the genes that allows your brain to have that of a woman, but the body of a man. Are they pretending?
I don't think, pretend comes into play here. Let them swap out the parts that don't fit the brain patterns and let them be who their brain says they are. No one is going to get a sex reassignment just because they want to. At least in the U.S. it won't happen. They have to go through many serious testing and evaluations before a doctor will do such a thing to make sure the brain truly is in line with that program, not just because someone wants to.
And yes, it is your right to not want to go along with that if you so choose, but I don't understand why you would care one bit. It is not hurting you in any way.
The bathroom bit is pure garbage. What the hell difference does it make if girls and boys are in the same bathroom? That is a "Church Ladies" phobia that anyone with a brain should just laugh at. Japan has gender neutral bathrooms and it works out just fine.
Sports... We need to do away with that stupid, boys sports and girls sports and just have sports. Everybody plays all sports. On average the girls will be better at some sports and the boys will be better at other sports. So what?
There is a mental blockage that humans seem to have that we must somehow keep male and female separated with walls and rules. It is just bullshit. We are all humans as one species. We did this with the military for a lot of years. Oh, we can't have women in combat. Turns out the woman are pretty damn good at combat and now we want more of them.
You may not like it, and that is up to you, but don't try to limit someone else to your ideas either. And just because you think someone is pretending, doesn't make it so, unless you have been through some serious medical training along those lines. If I have a Ford and it has a Chevy trunk lid, it is not a Chevy. It is a Ford with a wrong part.

Any sport that requires endurance, athleticism and strength will always be won by biological males.
When you allow biological males to compete in woman’s sport you erase women sports.

This particular issue is the the very frontline of the Culture Wars imo. which makes it very important.

This is so lame Levi.

It’s not about being uncomfortable or whatever.
It’s about being gaslit into believing something we know isn’t true. Trans people do not really exist.
There are men who dress up, act and sometimes even get mutilated to be like women, but that’s all they are, men dressed as women. Which is fine and good if that’s what they want.
You can surgically attach a couple of floppy ears to the side of my head, it doesn’t make me a cocker spaniel though.
