In the Feb magazine the Box Tree Moth article was stellar and well edited, pretty much zero pre-explanations. It had references at the end for more reading, went through each aspect of the issue, and didn't have excess definitions.

More of a general thing, but I appreciate the few articles which actually get into the nitty gritty and assume the reader is a well versed professional. Edit out 3 paragraphs of fluff and over explanations (have a couple references so people can read more if needed) and use that freed up space...
Bats, white nose syndrome and the widespread population drop, bat habitat, which old tree bark species/structure is most important to preserve. Pesticides and bats, time of year to be on lookout, legal concerns etc.

Hotel Arcata is pretty dope. Had a decent sushi spot too. The Eureka zoo has an amazing aerial boardwalk which is a hole in the wall spot. Great marshes and bird watching too.

After re watching a Project Farm video I ordered a case of CRC marine rust rattle cans for adding to the mix. Holds up better post pressure washing and prob better on our galvi boat trailer too. A pail of FF will cover way more frame but rattle cans are nice for the touchups.
