I got four of these blanks to play around with too (prices and info at Tuatahi). Around 6lbs each, probably do a basic chisel grind at 20 degrees or so on the first one and see how well the edge holds up before grinding the others.

Awesome! I haven’t pulled the trigger on their working crosscut saw yet but it will happen some day.
Are those the racing axes or working axes?
