I second that, a bandit 65 or 75 XL are great as is a Carleton 1260. I’ve had/owned both and a Vermeer 625, there’s no comparison. The 600 and 625’s, 700 &900 are excruciatingly painful to operate and non efficient chippers.
Yes same with mine, was the distributor cap, sent the timing off. the dealer here was great getting that issue resolved. We were told to switch the cap every 400-450 hours
