    Texting a business card

I get a lot of people calling on referral. If I haven't given them a physical business card and they haven't looked at my website, they don't know all we do. Someone recently said they didn't know we did climbing jobs and asked us to come handle something as their first choice of...

Anyone wear a down vest when it's cold? Same idea. Recharges in a cooler. 3 sets for 2 people works really well. 2 sets per person is the Best. One set... would you cooldown for a while, even if you have to take a break from the cool for 30 minutes ( normal working conditions)? Can't...

Coolvests!!!! Like intercoms, about $250 per person, unnecessary a lot of times, helpful sometimes, crucial other times, worth the money, saves/ makes money over a short time. Even one more crew-hour of comfortable work in one day knocks repays . I've gotten mine out one day, but it didn't...

Sad to see the change in screen name to Spiral of Decline. Ownership is a tough route to hoe. Wishing you all the best in turbulent times.

    Today....

Decided to play with the micro-x and sawmill for a change. Made some nice cedar fence boards. I've got an excess of logs, so a bit at a time will win it.

Break test on a climbing line that has been “spiked”

Like in lead rock climbing, keep the rope across your laces/ on top of your foot running to the outside.

Break test on a climbing line that has been “spiked”

It's the new rope's inexperience at bobbing and weaving. My tips aren't even sharp. They're pointy, not sharp.

    Today....

A live, healthy red alder for a change. Tied into it exclusively and rigged of f it. I even got out my Rig'n'Wrench and a double- braid rope, but cut and lowered NC with treemaster, as it was so easy. Bling didn't get used. The Auto-feed stopped feeding for half a second despite our fast...
