Bit more intense than normal Maker’s Mark probably, but pretty smooth?
It's really quite good but I can get their cask strength for a couple bucks more.
I would really like them to release some barrels in the 9-12 year range rather than just different strengths of their usual stuff. The 46 was a good start with doing something a bit differently

What's the official verdict?
Barrel proof wins as expected but the single barrel is quite good and this particular barrel is leaps and bounds better than No. 7

I have a bottle of this years release, pact number 6, still in the box. Waiting for a special occasion.
I can see we are going to have to work on Mark.
