There are some seriously overhyped and overpriced American whiskies right now. Taters don't help but there are many great buys that are always on the shelf while idiots chase bottles on delivery days at 9am...

That same guy has a video with a list of some of those, too. A far more practical list, I might add, for a po' boy hiding out in a cornfield. As it is, I have to drive a considerable distance just to find a liquor store that carries those ones.
Luckily, I can walk across the street and get a bottle of spiced rum that I can tolerate. And, I only drink to steady my nerves. Right now, they're so steady that I can't even move.

Jason, I just want to know about naming conventions up there in the far north, frigid zones. Why is there a Licking County in Ohio? Are there certain activities that, by law, must only be performed in this county? I don't mean to sound condescending of the citizens of your allegedly fine state (well, I do, but it's easier to deny it than it is to apologize for it), but this does make me wonder if "Buckeye State" isn't just a spelling error.
