Well, you're not called the buzz loud mouth for nothing. You got to be proud of that.

LOL, seen yea at phillips at dinner friday didn't want to disturb your little party, and say hi. Figured to myself, your pretty much like the rest, and think to yourself your the best why distrub that right?

125 cash a day...I crapped this morning and it cost more...you ARE a loud mouth, I can't believe who you are callin out Holly.

My question is, If you are so GOOD, then WHY didn't you get the job with Chisholm??

200 a day is pretty reasonable...I think most climbers/operators in Calgary and BC that have half a brain are probably makin that much. Thats without the CUA ticket (here in BC). What I'm most impressed with, Jeff, is that you are fully covered and what not. Good on ya man.

Guys that are certified to trim around high voltage lines in my parts are probably clearin btw 250-400 a day depending on seniority. I think Holly is a little east coast-centric.

For one tweedle dumb I was offered the job, just not what I wanted money wise, so you have no worries about me I am employed with someone who thought I was worth what I wanted. Have been asked by more than I'd like to mention here to come and try them out. One I don't need to move about to prove what I am, second, and trust me, my production rate can top most of the best here. Comps are for guys that can't make it alone!!!!!!!!

When your the hammer everthing you see is a nail.

Do they even have trees in KY, or are they just over grown bushes???? Cuase they sure do look like all I'd need is a stick trimmer to trim them.

Back to the subject of the thread. Most of the climbing gear I use at work is my personal kit and I also use my own climbing saw. I don't mind using my own gear but I do like the $0.25/hr to replace and upgrade your gear. They did that at Bartlett when I worked there. I think Bartlett provides all the gear for their employees now, probably depends on the local manager as to what gear they deem necessary.

Now what was being talked about? Gear. Anybody that starts for me gets the basics for about an hour. Groundies excluded. Generaly speaking they are the newbies and deserve the break. I will not supply climbing gear. Any other friggin trade as an aprentice or journeyman you would be expected to show up with gear or tools appropriate for the job. Only in this trade are there so many experts that want top dollar that own crap or near nothing. Marginaly skilled most times. Folks will look after there OWN stuff. Rarely yours! There are exceptions to every rule of course. Glad i always subscribed to the philosophy of BUYING all my own gear. Just like a big boy.

I have my own gear, but use very little of it at work. It is all provided.
You want me to do a job? You want me to produce income for the company?

You will provide me with the tools to do so
