I don’t subscribe to talk radio, other than NPR; I’ve decided to give it another go.

You did make a big deal about a link to an article I shared because of who previously owned the Politically Conservative Site where the Article was posted.

Does personal admittance of being close-minded somehow negate or lessen the fact that person is indeed close minded?

I don’t believe the cost was very much, & it was incorporated into the building without a lot of changes. It seems effective.

Let us remember- center mass shots do not kill zombies - only head shots will work.

I just - literally 5 minutes ago - drove by an urban high school. Has all the gates and fences and a police offucer necessary at this time.

Problem - mass amounts of kids walking into school. Sitting ducks. If a suicidal teen wanted a weapon of mass destruction and become a terrorist, they could take out 20-30 kids no problem.

Why is it so easy for the general public to get these weapons on demand?

Lets turn our country into police state., our schools into prison daycare for our children. Zero margin for error. Stripping of our civil rights, so the few scared grown-men can keep their shiny security blankets. Again, Fuck That, it ain't gonna happen!

I feel no shame in taking no consideration to the banter from the likes of breitbart and townhall, media outlets designed specifically to manipulate minds, distort facts and perpetuate and culture war that can't be won. Should I?

The school I mentioned earlier was the same school where I dropped my youngest off this morning: I guess their camouflage is really effective because none of what you described was visible there.

The teachers even open-handed waved at me: with their left hand, I might add.

Sure, I read the article's you linked, and shared my opinion, personally I don't want my kids to go to a school that is more kin to a prison than an institution of education, getting rides in armored cars to and fro. No thanks.

Sorry, but this fucking clown feels the 17 dead kids in Florida, and the assignation of 58 concert goers in Vegas qualifies as "mass destruction."
 
Merging the student victims of gun fever, the women who speak, the blacks that go down on one knee, and the other organizing en-mass including veterans who were screwed and people who's properties were destroyed by fracking, kids with cancer, all of them...is the most Patriotic American concept offered. It made America. The NRA and the right resists it. Even Hillary's brand of liberalism delivered us to the hungry mouths of greed. The root cause.

I agree - long term it is terrible - that's why I jokingly said drones and gun towers - long term stricter gun reg.

I also think it is ridiculous - but it is a quick and short term fix.

I've worked on campuses where there are police - it can be done without making it a police state - we have police in the general public - they dont stop all crime - but the well trained cops can we escalate and improve communities.

There are a lot of shitty cops - some even beat students - but most don't.

Perhaps not but my family has direct experience of escaping a military invasion. The stories aren't pleasant.
