The Stein Arbor Trolley looks sweet

Remember too that balance it the key, with the wheels being the center-point. if that means you have to stack the brush over/beyond the handle then thats what you have to do. Same as its best to layer the bottom with small stuff to keep the longer limbs elevated from the wheels and ground.

Good points Reg, and this is something that we learned very fast.

Still one of the best purchases that I have ever made in tree equipment.

Oh great, Bonner is getting one, now I have to get one! Kiddin'.

We cleaned up 3 palms poolside in the back yard last week, the Arbo Trolly would have been the dream. Let us know what you think Bonner.

I just bought one as had my log dolly stolen last month. Thinking I can also pull it with the mini as it is hard to get more than 4 small logs in the grapple and that wastes a trip. I have a bc2k chipper so instead of taking the chipper to the brush we often pull a big light trailer full o brush with the 4x4 Yota to the chipper. I can see the usefulness when that setup don't fit. Also I like to buy stuff from Treestuff and I like Reg so seems like a good allround deal. $699.95... can make that in couple of hours this time of year.

Finally got mine after a bit of time since Lukey at the conference (fine w/ that)...but arrives w/out the hardware. :-) Very impressed with the build quality and apparent strength of structure.

Question...Anyone entertaining filling the wheels w/ gel? Honey locust etc. and just plain bad luck prevention?

Had one get dropped off for testing at our office and it is one hot commodity. Some people say there is no such thing as over-built, but that would be my only complaint (weight). Well thought out Reg.
I think our favourite application is loading the absolute piss out of it with brush and attaching the chipper winch cable through the captive eye on the handle upright.

I put the arbor trolley to work the last two days and am really impressed. Very well thought out. In a strange way I feel foolish for not having this tool for years. I think it is going to add years to my career. All Y'all need to get you one. No lie.

They (Stein) sent hardware...but just half of it. Reluctantly went out and bought the hardware and used it couple of days ago. Very nice and esp. like the 2 man pull handle. Had 2 long pull trees, 1 a crab....and one a hawthorn (eeeek), way down a hill. Got em both done easily with one load each, then later looked in the bed of the truck...and, as expected, flat tire. Was actually surprised not both flat.

Found a place to gel/foam fill. Reg agreed with me on this. They need a tire with no flat to fill tho. Also found a 750 lb cap. wheel tire combo in Northern cat. already filled. The capacity of the stock tire is 500 lb. Under spec in my opinion. I will carry more than a thousand pounds on this sometime likely.

Measured the inside dia. of the wheel and it is 1 inch, but I am thinking measurement includes the bearing. Anyone have an opinion on this as the biggest inside bore they have is 3/4 inch...probably what I have. Help anyone?

Mine came with flat free tires.

If the hub on the bearing doesn't match the axle shaft on the trolley you can probably find a bushing at your local hardware store.

They match but they sent me a cheap [pick a different word] tire below spec (500 and not 600 according to Reg) and now they are sending solid tires to people. If the wheels I found were a larger inside dia. (than the axle) I could maybe get a larger bushing to fit but the ones I have found are smaller than the axle.

Plus I would have to spend over a hundred dollars more for 2 solid wheels when others are getting them for free.

Where did you get yours? I got mine thru Tree Stuff. I spoke with Reg and he offered to send me 2 solid 1" bore wheels.

I coulda used it yesterday. Just want to get it usable.

ps (edit) here is a nice use I plan to have and I have a trailer hitch plate I had fabricated that goes on my Dingo.
