Storing a branch manager

I like the work around.

2 multipurpose wrenches are already on my truck.

I open the valve with the operator control for one hose as I connect the hose coupler, then the other direction for the second coupler on the second hose.

I will say, this looks simple enough. If I had an excavator or something with no Avant hook up I might use this. (In the comments there seems to be several people saying it's easy to set controles to not have pressure on fittings.) But, I wouldn’t know myself.

Do you sometimes need help in separating the connection?

I almost never have an issue with line pressure preventing a connection. Every time before I disconnect or connect I turn off the mini, turn the key on (not running) toggle the aux a couple of times each direction then connect.

The very rare case where I have trouble getting one hose to connect, I can get the other connection made, then toggle the auxiliary again and the second hose goes on.

Separating the couplers has never been a problem, once in a while a sticky coupler requires a light tap with a hammer or handy chunk of wood, but that's it.

Putting them together though, that's a different story. If we disconnect a grapple when it is cool out in the morning, and then try to put it back on the machine when it is 30° warmer later in the day, it doesn't matter what we've done ahead of time, it won't connect. That little handy tool makes it connect, and very easily. I love ours, we should have bought it years ago.
