I like Makita, I have a Makita drill which is much lighter than most if not all battery drills, just bring spare batteries. Plus it has lasted about 30 years, I inherited it from dad who used it as an aircraft mechanic.

I just looked up the xgt but it’s coming in at 15.48 pounds. They have that listed as assembled weight, I can’t say if that’s the actual weight but that’s awefully heavy for a top handle.

That would be disappointing! I compare everything to my 7lbs echo 2500 T. Only downside is the batteries are finicky in the winter. I was hoping this new Makita would be close to that weight with more power, and Makita’s don’t seem struggle in the cold.
