Have to hype Diesel Kleen to anyone who cares.
I have a 2018 Ram 5500 with the 6.7 Cummins, about 46k mi now. From new it would frequently go into regen and stay on for 15 or 20 minutes of driving. At some point I saw addatives being talked about as important to today's fuel because of reduced lubricity with low sulfer fuel. I went with Archoil because it was recommended somewhere, did the initial condioner and then upkeep addative. No changes in anything I noticed, still frequent regen for 15 to 20 minutes. (Once every week or two.)
Then watching Project Farm, or the Oil Geek (Lake Speed?), Diesel Kleen was highly recommended as superior to others with facts and info to back it up. So I bought some and started using that. My regens have gone down to once every few weeks it will click on for a moment or 20 seconds and that's it.
The facts listed on the YT video are why I wanted to use it. But, living in CA the mental picture of my CAT staying primarily clean is very satisfying.
