Those of you that are climbing on Squir, what systems are you using?
When I sat on the rope with my rope runner (classic), I sunk straight to the ground. I've tried the akimbo 1 and am finding it difficult to get my settings dialed just right. Even my go to hitchea with the Rope Wrench either seemed to not let me move, or felt very... Jumpy.
I soaked the rope in cool water for 24 hours per manufacturer instructions, then let it air dry, but the rope feels very... Slick. Almost like there is still some sort of coating from the factory on it still
Has anyone else experienced this? Does the rope need to be broken in?
For reference, I'm about 150 lbs.
