Rope Wrench - Hitch/Rope compendium.

Fuck yo pinto. Lanyard adjuster. Canopy cinch but that is it....you are in a minority on this for a reason.....
Damn, don't hold back so much of your feelings, lol. The majority isn't always right and some people have different opinions, that's why we have so many options of nice stuff to climb on. But I do want to get an hc soon. But a pinto as a lanyard adjuster is a waist of money. My lanyard adjusts just fine with a $19 micro pulley, or a $2.50 hardware store swivel snap. I just threw some hrc on my lanyard with a micho and it doesn't even need a tender, it just works all by itself.

Very short HRC and beeline handspliced with naked eyes in a pinto is money.....think I use 18"ers.....with a captive wire CT oval with captive wire pulled. Swift one hand move between side Ds and lower Ds.....there is a reason the tuefelberger CE lanyard uses a pinto.....because it is dope.....

Always remember what I say is my picky ass opinion. Worth zero. But funny thing is when folk see my setups they love them.....I am actually a minimalist climber.....but all my systems have to not have any bulk or slop. Zero....

why does it have to be a captive wire biner if you don't use the wire?

Honestly I have never understood why 0 sitback with a wrench is so important. Not like you are falling 3 feet when you reach a desired location. Non issue. Just climb the tree.

What happened to no slack and every little detail?
Well my wrench setup has almost zero sitback and no slop...a half inch sitback is so minimal. If you want 0 sitback use a runner. Trust me I am consistant in my setup views. My wench setup is flawless. Took 8 years to perfect. Many changes but no flaws now. At comps you will see it replicated many times.

1/2 inch is way too much when I'm running up a 20 foot hemlock on a base tie 1 handing my 660 to limb it and blow a 4.5 foot top out.

In all seriousness, 1/2 inch is nothing. I'm starting to see why people like the wrench. It is seriously smooth. I got a shorty tether in the mail today and a couple stiched eye cords. I don't have much to climb tomorrow except a couple sappy spruces and a white pine. I might have to stop on the way home and climb a clean tree to test the new items out.

Do not dare expose such wonderful gear to those horrid trees. Fuck yo sap skuntfollicles.
