KY TCC 07

Re: KY TCC 07

Those of you who have critisized Shower through your posts have been duly recorded and your posts forwarded to the communique. We have used your likenesses to beat Shower over the past few days in order to build up resentment and hatred between Shower and you. Repent now, and the 10,000 waters of Shower may not suddenly spew forth the waters of mid-October onto your aching bones when you are bathing in her otherwise full range of comfortable water temperatures. Repent!

Re: KY TCC 07

I aint fraid of no October spouting shower.....

And now, your updated Accu-Arbor weather forecast for the Kentucky Chapter of the ISA's Tree Climbing Championship.......

The day will start out menacingly normal, partly cloudy with a temp. around 55 degrees F. By 10 AM all hell breaks loose and the sun burns through the clouds, beginning to redden Removal Wizard's pale upper thighs as he competes in his famed "banana hammocks".

By 5 PM, all in attendance will agree that the weather was "perfect" and all thank EZ Phloem with gifts of cash and Lincoln Towncars.

Much rejoicing will be had all around.

Re: KY TCC 07

Okay finally back!!!!!! I never would have guessed that in order to get internet in Kentucky you would have to personally run the DSL lines. When I first asked about it they thought I was talking about "Dem Sucky Louisville Cardinals." I didn't have the heart to tell them that I said DSL not DSLC and that I meant internet not bad football teams!!!!! All kidding aside Louisville is a ton of fun as many of you will get to see at the TCC. Can't wait to see everyone!!!!

JerseyGirl and others interested: the sushi that we have had so far has been pretty dang tasty so look forward to a huge feast after the comp.

Kentucky.... a place in America!

We're having a pre-comp get together Oct 6th in Louisville as a introduction to competition climbing for several first time climbers. Any Kentucky climbers out there lurking are invited to run through a work climb, footlock, maybe AR, and throwline. All others are invited too if you're in the area. PM me if you want to come out and play in a cool Northern Red Oak.

Since Louisville is south of the Mason Dixon Line, even if it were a Northern red oak, it would have to have a Southern flare.

Re: Kentucky.... a place in America!

Hey tree rat who is that supposed to be in the purple dancing thing. Looks like maybe a rhino? Well I'm pumped about the adventure. Got a couple guys coming from school that have been cl imbing for only a short while and are interested. This will be an interesting group to mee and greet. Hope all is going well in prep. And it appears that it's only a couple weeks away.

Re: Kentucky.... a place in America!

I know that I have been doing a lot of reading and practice for this and waiting and planning and the antipaction is just about making me wonder IF I CAN DO IT.

Can I stand there. looking things over, picking the best way to approach the event,

BEING A GIRL (what will i wear that will not clash with my gear) - white helmet, pink bow, grey boots?

Will I look foolish, will I be at the least able to keep up, i know i can not win, not with the competition that will be there, I am up against the champs, the best of the best.

I just hope to not disappoint myself.

SO here to perpare i have started to read this first.

http://gojapan.about.com/cs/foodinformation/ht/ht_sushi.htm

going up again Rich H is going to be HARD GOING at the sushi platter

GEE - CAN I get in the throw line event too????

ok -= get the shovel out

Wait a minute, are we talking about Kentucky?

And that big Barney thing giving the International Sign for Spanking, made me feel uncomfortable.

Are you coming, Paul?

Yes I am, I will be competing.

Sounds like there might be more out of state competitors than in state this year.
