If you could only have 3 saws..... AND THE REMAINDER OF YOUR ARSENAL

I have become a hoarder once again... you should see my garage. And my hardware box in the other corner of my bedroom. I have so much rope it is silly. And ropebags to match. 1 own 5 throwcubes fully setup. Three falteimers and 2 treezers.....I have offloaded a good bit over the years too. Damn I have 2 kid's Twist harnesses in there two, plus helmets for kids just in case I need to hoist a kid or two in a tree. Have had two of my kids bday parties with kid's climb. 20 freakin kids.....up and down. Min 3 times each. Lordy, but the smiles and happy parents is worth it. Who needs a clown when ya got trees. Boy I can ramble.......
There is a big difference between a gear hoarder and a gear slut. The latter plays with all the toys

I recently purchased a 540 XP MK3. It's the saw I have been hoping someone would make. A kick-ass 40cc top handle that is powerful enough when chunking wood to bridge the gap straight to a 60cc saw, which means no more need for a 50cc saw aloft. Thank you Husky! Still in the honeymoon phase but I am loving this little top handled powerhouse.
i own 4 200t‘s. at least now i know there might be a replacement when they die or get stolen. what size bar do you run on your 540?

I run a 16" on my 200T and 201T, but a 14" on my T540i since it's just not as powerful.

And as far as this itch to buy the new Husky gas climber... maybe I'll try and scratch it by just buying their latest handheld battery blower instead :p I have 6 climbing saws but only one hand held blower at the moment... so I should probably have a second??

I just run a 14" on mine as well I don't think I'd like a 16 very much since it just cuts out when you push it to hard.

Nahh you should scratch the itch of buying a new top handle. I'll send you my shipping address for delivery.

Wish list:
Top handle...I want strong battery powered saw - either a Milwaukee or Husqvarna T540i (I have a small Makita, that i do like and an Echo 355T that is OK, but I have to limit my numbers here...)

Just bought:
543XP
562XP

(to replace MS261 and Husqvarna 359)

We don't do big removals, so I think I like where I am with the 543 and 562

I was speaking of gassers, and I agreed that a 16" is generally a bit much for the 540i. I can get away with a 16" when cutting Reds, but even then it runs out of steam pretty quickly. I do love the little 540i, but it is good for little more than limbing, topping, and a few small logs. Sure be nice if they could figure out how to make truly professional battery saws which covered our needs from 35-90 cc's...
