If you could only have 3 saws..... AND THE REMAINDER OF YOUR ARSENAL

my 3 saws- tsurugi 300, ms150, 400c

I only use 2 chainsaws, ms150 and 400c. I tried the little makita battery saw for awhile but ditched that. I just have the 150 and 400 on the van, does the trick for me. The truck has a 200t, couple 150's and a 440. My favorite days are when we need no saw at all.

I will go 201tc, 372xp with 25", 395xp with 32". That can do most. Have bigger bars if need be. Or the versatile 28"er. Plan on getting the new 540xp mark3.....so will see if they can replace my 201tc's.....
Most of your pics a few yrs back were all Stihl, changing gears or dealers on the island?

I recently purchased a 540 XP MK3. It's the saw I have been hoping someone would make. A kick-ass 40cc top handle that is powerful enough when chunking wood to bridge the gap straight to a 60cc saw, which means no more need for a 50cc saw aloft. Thank you Husky! Still in the honeymoon phase but I am loving this little top handled powerhouse.

The 372 and the 395 are both legendary saws with no computer chips in them! When they are dialed in and singing there is really nothing in their cc classes that can keep up for power, grunt, speed, productivity, longevity, and ease of maintenance. A no brainer in my book, and why I have grabbed a few of both models before Husky does something stupid and discontinues them...

I'd be curious to hear your impressions after you've lived with it for a while. Somehow you can buy it online through Treestuff for $551.99 which is just crazy cheap. Aren't 201s like $850 at this point?? I really don't need another top-handle, but that does get the gears in my head spinning...

It sounds like Husky should pay you for that review.

Yea. $850 for the 35 cc 201, which in stock form is a mediocre saw at best..No thanks. Way better alternatives out there for less money.

I have been running the 540 MK3 for a few weeks so I think I have a fairly good understanding of it capabilities, but obviously I can't speak to its durability and longevity yet.
