I was trained to counter-insurgency and propaganda (winning hearts and minds). To kill the enemy. To that and my country 'tis to thee, I'm not going to quit until America's back obeying our collectively written Constitutional laws.
Like I've heard in our bloody past, "if you don't like America, get the he'll out!" To Russia I guess, where Trump's "good guy Putin" runs an autocracy just like he aspires to.

Just woke up to the news in Vegas today - sad and horrific. Both of my sisters 3 nieces and nephews live there and frequent country music shows. - all were home last night, safe.

I'll be keeping everyone in my heart today and hoping that we can all see the day when mass shootings aren't frequent. - nobody deserves to go through that.

Today, for those victims of another human, I pulled my tiller down the road and started 3 vegetable gardens for people I've never met but know they didn't plant or grow anything. Now we know each other.
Now, maybe, their kids can heal from diabetes? Or maybe they'll give away some of their produce?
It's my church. Where there exists no God, just action and penance.
RIP Americans. In loss and pain, there are lessons. Some learn, some won't.
 
I might have to add, that I didn't charge them anything. 10 years ago I wouldn't even think about maybe needing to mention that. That's where my viewpoint of America, at present, is now days.
And we elected that times ten to lead us.

Sat around with a bunch of Republican in-laws this weekend. The common sentiment was "Shut up." "He's making things worse." "Let your cabinet and VP do the work and speaking." Etc etc

Is america going to keep letting him/his shit continue or let it get worse? It all has everything to do with any level republican candidate..for they support what he's done and continues to do.

Redistricting the statewide election and how a minority party came to power. It's a Supreme Court case decided tomorrow. I read, listen, and watch. Russia's interference now understood, we've seen this target principle states that brought this coup to fruition. Precisely why I waste no more time debating the issues at hand. The reason we're organizing the military and veteran's groups, disgruntled minority factions, teachers, unions, and even red neck shoppers at Wal-Mart.
The "take America back" bullshit is nothing more than frustrated lawbreaking thugs, evidenced by the latest anti-abortion congressman who demanded his mistress get one..while holding a bible voting against ground-level health care for women.
No debate. Just actions.
The blood spilled for causing world hatred? No more. Time to save America and perhaps, the earth.
Was Karen Silkwood an impediment to business as usual..or a true patriot? Therein lies your answer to the rightwing.

The modern Republican/Conservative party has wrapped itself in the Bible and the flag, while simultaneously lieing, cheating and stealing its way to majorities, at every level. Winning at all cost seems to be there one and only guiding principle. How very Christian of em'. It's time for the rest of us to realize that our opponent in not fighting fair. You sure gotta love a married, bible thumping, anti-abortion zealot congressman getting busted for asking his pregnant mistress to get an abortion. My he get what he deserves!
 
You will love the list of we are compiling...waiting for the midterm elections to expose them, after they tap their corporate and church-backed fundraising efforts.
To drain their backers of money while showing their true purposes is way more fun than watching utube videos or going to the mall.
It's also highly addictive but in a fun way, kind of like climbing trees again. Retirement doesn't have to be boring.

I've been a buzzer for more than a decade.
I quit when my body responded, finally, to the patriot shit I believed enough in to enlist to "protect" our democracy [sic]. Over and over again. Not only bled in battle, but for years after. Buried so many friends (suicide rates of VN vets documented at 3 times the body count of KIA., Highest cancer rates in any age group, and utter total lies from all administrations and chemical industry messengers.
I bought a farm inside the Cherokee Nation. Grew my own food, ate what we're supposed to, and left society to live the red road and teach these youth empowerment and truths. I'm in the middle of an oil industry state. My well's now poisoned, my crops failed, and besides an oil rig on our state capital's lawn our public schools are broke and thanks to fast food and prescription medicine our people are dying.
Surburbanites don't see this. They don't know why Black Lives Matter, why protests occur, or why the world literally hates us and ISIS can recruit so many willing to die killing us first.
Trashing regulations we fought hard to establish, one being carcinogens and the other unbridled wall street greed, the GOP has conned America into false righteousness. Just ask any public school teacher, a combat vet about to go civilian mass casualties, and your own need to reach for prescription anti-depressants your doctor gleefully scribes out because his portfolio includes investments in pharmaceuticals.

I'm also mad at the hate spewing from dipshits who blame others instead of their own failures to run a profitable business. Blame the victims. Just like Hitler did to the Jews.
I was also posted to Central America. We trained rightwing death squads how to find and terrorize and kill civilians in order to protect American financial interests from profit loss. Read our fucking history and not our high school version of it.
Then maybe, me being "America's Son" will be understandable, my motivations realized.
I know how to fight, trained well. They never taught, in America's recent history, what "fragging" is, have they?
After all, I'm just a retired arborist, know nothing more than the average Joe.

Let me personally thank you for all you have given, in service to this mostly ungrateful nation. You are a heavy man, and I'm am proud to know you, even if it is just on this forum! I live off the grid, way out in the woods, and like yourself, the wife (a school teacher) and I grow all our veggies, have goats for our dairy needs, a bunch of chickens, do a little hunting, and raise a little livestock every year for meat. As I said before, keep up the fight, and take comfort in knowing that there are many others out there who feels as you do. I don't know if you listen to much music, but I included a link to something I think you might like. The last verse made me think of you!
