Fu*%face Von Clownstick

It's simple. Give the hard right no quarter. Nothing they say square with fact. They hate anything they can't understand. The "family values" and redistricting brought them to power, the militarization of community law enforcement and their bible-centric Supreme Court may defend their dogmatic position but street actions will continue to pull them down.
The "oath" many of us swore to uphold was taken seriously and doesn't expire upon discharge. To me and many others who fought and died for America, the enemy isn't the growing discourse of millions of people worldwide but rather the collection of liars and corrupt million/billionaires who successfully staged the 2017 coup d' etat on the leadership of America. Clearly with Russia's leadership helping.
Citizens have a contractual obligation to pull this imposter and his minions down. That includes the minority of white-supremacist followers who believe wealth, no matter how it's achieved, is a God-sanctioned right.
The South lost the war and their nation was outlawed. Why cannot we see who the enemy really is?

Sigh.... I remember how the left howled with glee when folks on the right declared that Obama wasn't their President. "Oh yes he is, and there's nothing you can do about it!" And they were right.

Oh and also, "Show a little respect for the office, if not the man," they would say.

It's not the hypocrisy that astounds me, it's the degree of it. Again, I'm blown away that many people can't grasp that half the country felt this way under Obama. These emotions you are feeling are not new or unique.

To be clear, blame Obama for this. He goaded the right. Called them "bitter clingers". Rammed that disaster of a "health care plan" down their throats without a single Republican vote. Told McCain that "I won, John. Elections have consequences." Yes they do.

Trump is Obama's legacy. Orange is the New Black.

I paid my price for serving America: Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, PTSD, Bronze Star 2clusters, Purple Heart 2, and 2 adult children with mutated genes. Honorably discharged and I've taken nothing of my benefits. No G.I. Bill, no health care, and no disability.
I strongly consider the Tea Party, the far right, the Christian influenced vote, and corporate campaign giving to be blood enemies of America.
My hero's go down on one knee instead of treasonously blind patriotism and flag-wrapped neo-conservatism who've condemned any practice of redress of fascist
rhetoric and divided nationalism.
My dad also fought fascists and bled for the flag, unlike the cadre of sissies, rich thieves and fascist molesters that temporarily trespass in our nation's capital and 35 state government offices.
I've also 'tippy-toed' around offending the whining supporters of far-right politics but no more. The planet is dying from their policies, millions suffer and countless have died and many more will. Nuclear war, the shit I put up with growing up, now back..times ten. "Ape in heels" is how they labelled the last First Family, look at the scumbags they inserted in place of.
Kindness and fair time to their points-of-view? Not anymore. The sit-rep is 30 seconds to doomsday, all stops have been pulled out.
Revolt. It's more American than the traitors who've taken office ever hope to know.
JMHO.

Other than Fox news and other fake neo-con bullhorn media of fat, draft-dodging pricks, blaming Obama is right up your alley. Blame others, never yourselves. Isn't that against the "personal responsibilities" of the GOP?
I didn't vote for Obama. He stood too dependent on corporate wealth although his initiatives were truly progressive. He certainly, along with his family, were no "apes".
Especially compared to this traitor sitting at his golf courses as we spar.

Perhaps give Bucknut the benefit of the doubt? He doesnt strike me as a Trump fan but rather has a few more Right viewpoints

Well, we could have a discussion about how this so called "big, beautiful, tax cut" being proposed will explode the deficit, how doing nothing about climate change will explode the deficit, how doing nothing about healthcare will explode the deficit, how continuing a never ending war and possibly going to war with NK will damage the global economy and explode the deficit, or the private jet expenses, the grifting of tax payer money to Trump industries, the use of private email, the nepotism, the clear collusion with foreign powers to assist in either money laundering, personal business deals, or politics.

Those used to be conservative issues.

But, instead, heads go in the sand and we have ridiculous national conversation about being patriotic to the American flag this month and saving failed confederate symbols of slavery last month.

I hear ya, but passing any legislation will require cooperation in the House and Senate. Something we haven't seen in years. It's been all or none and things get railroaded through

JD is right. I'm no Trump fan. He is an immature, narcissistic buffoon. But I think what people like about him is that he's a fighter. The first fighter on the right in 40 years.

I get that many hate what he's fighting for, but it's a refreshing taste of progressives' own medicine. ALL progressives are fighters. They proclaim loudly and often what they believe in. I think what truly scares/angers the left now is the fact that their extremism has woken a sleeping giant. The "giant" is normal people all across the fruited plain who are just gutsick of being lectured and guilted and taxed and socialized and told America isn't great. The left is freaking out because normal people aren't afraid anymore. (And I'm NOT talking about freaking Nazis).

The right has for decades been overtaken by spineless, timid man-children. Can anyone tell me what Mitt Romney or McCain or Lindsay Graham stand for? To this day THEY don't even know, and they would change positions this second if a consultant told them it might buy some votes.

A vote for Trump was just a cry for help, an attempt to surface for a breath after being held underwater for decades.

What does Trump stand and fight for again?

Drain the swamp, lock her up, build a wall, Make America Great Again, Law and Oder, Tear up NAFTA, label China a currency manipulator?

How does he fight for any of that besides empty slogans, all the while he and his crew grift our tax money?

He is just a cheerleader for nihilism and wealth accumulation

I heard idiots state "he's successful at business!" Or, "he built his wealth". That we need less/no government, more business.
He robbed those who sweated for him. He's deregulating laws put in place to CHECK business. Wells Fargo, Enron, Dow, even Volkswagen...broke laws to bolster profits, release poisons, falsify data, and suppress science all to increase the income, reduce the wage scales, and usurp regulations to protect the consumer, protect air/ water quality, and human rights. These are republican ideals.
Then they silence the rebuttals, force Christian [sic] values, and snoop into voter roles to punish those who rightfully, lawfully oppose. These have been republican measures. John McCain is a hero by my definition, I do not agree with his politics, but to be called "a failure" for being captured/ tortured by a draft-dodging sissy/pathological liar has militarized me and Damn well set my course to organize every faction disillusioned and ripped-off by what the republican party either fully supports, or offer deadly supportive silence to this pig-assed fat shithead.
I was trained to counter-insurgency and propaganda (winning hearts and minds). To kill the enemy. To that and my country 'tis to thee, I'm not going to quit until America's back obeying our collectively written Constitutional laws.
Like I've heard in our bloody past, "if you don't like America, get the he'll out!" To Russia I guess, where Trump's "good guy Putin" runs an autocracy just like he aspires to.
The debate is long over. It's mobilization time.

Nope - he just dedicated a golf trophy to Puerto Rico. What a tool.

he is a fighter for publicity. He fights for his name to be on every newspaper everyday. He has no ideology other than self promotion. He is not a conservative or anything close to it. He is not a racist, or anything. there is nothing there at all, no ideas... just self promotion. If narcissism were a cause, you could say he is a fighter
