Fu*%face Von Clownstick

Painful as it is, the hurtful truth about America has finally festered out in the open. Root cause understanding might be transformative, giving us an opportunity to grow and maybe resolve the true problems facing us. It also highlights which people stand in the way and become targets in what may need be war to change it all from these times on forever.

Still the same shit show. Doesn't matter who's 'running' it.
And now for the back lash ......

The problem is that it does matter. We need someone who can help us get along with each other, not someone who picks at every scab, snarls at every perceived slight, and acts like a 10-year-old on the playground. We could not have picked a worse person for the job. But now I am getting off my soapbox and going back to climbing trees. It takes my mind off this mess.

I hear ya! but perhaps now isn't the best time to get off the soap box. It's more important now than ever to affect what ever small amount of change that you can....

My point being is the corporate world gets in office who they want to be there. They spend the money on the campaigns. Yes supposedly Trump paid his own way but he's a huge part of that world.

It's not just the profiteers. It's christian fanatics who have demonstrated a support for molestation and greed, Russian ex-politboro leaders, and neo-Nazi white supremacists who feel America's "success" was built by their exploitatious use of cheap or slave labor. Conservatism has been usurped by an 1859 view of manifest destiny and ignorance.
All elements can be defeated at the voting booth and massive street actions..both as American as apple pie and an obligation to keep this nation from realizing Hitler's 1,000 year global Reich.

Point taken. I think we are all a bit on edge these days, and Trump is not helping. I forget who it was who said it, but they made the observation that it is "supposed to be the president who ages while he is in office, not the rest of us!" He is making us all old before our time.

Love reading your posts brother. Good shit!

Everybody who cares should both-boots on full when the haters spew their shit. They've gotten this far by getting away with it and simply open your eyes to see the results.

After watching Frank Burns Vietnam series this past week the timeline of our involvment made more sense to me. What I found out was what the US presidents and generals knew too. Johnson knew that Nixon was making treasonous side deals with the North Vietnamese. Our supposed enemy. Had Johnson spilled the beans on Tricky Dick LBJ knew what the social and political fallout there would be. The war went on and grunts on both sides along with too many civilians died

The uprising of public sentiment and street protests by more than just shaggy college students changed the political climate

It is very hard not to see parallels now.

Will a 'Frank Burns-type' make the same multi-hour movie about the 'rump administration/era in years to come?

Melodramatic much? We'll be fine. Adults can differ on policy without the country exploding.

(And before you say it, I also wish Trump would be more adult more often)

The worst - zero leadership, shallow, petty, childish, entitled, narcissistic, back bitter, undermining, and so much more.

Zero legislation accomplishments, and the few he pushes benefit the top 0.005%. And he even has a majority of the house, senate, and a 50-50ish supreme court.

His 35% that will support him no mater what - they've got their voice. Big hat, small hands, no cattle.

Trump at his golf course snipe tweeting about lazy and ungrateful Puerto Rican's.

Meanwhile American Citizens fight tooth and nail to clear roads, run supplies, and aid the ill themselves in Puerto Rico. No gas, cash, electricity or communications - very limited clean drinking water. Rt. Lt. Honore, who is on the ground, says Puerto Rico is worse than Katrina - "it's like an atomic bomb went off".

I honestly don't think there will be "...years to come". Vietnam, America survived. Trump and company, we won't.

Ugh, me either - remember that war in Iraq and Afghanistan that we won? SMH

Now we are having pissing match in Asia.

As trillions are spent on that, we can't muster the will to build our own infrastructure or manage decent assistance in a US Territory- Puerto Rico

Great post! Its really scary to think about the damage that Trump could inflict on the world, if left in office for very long. The man has got to go, and soon. I was born in Puerto Rico, at Roosevelt Roads US Naval Base in San Juan (hence my nickname). Puerto Rican's are humble, honest, hardworking, wonderful people. Unfortunately our President see's these American citizens as just a bunch of lazy, brown skinned motherfuckers, that don't deserve his attention. Little, low energy, crooked, stupid little baby handed, fat-assed Donny is a fucking disgrace on every level, and the sad truth is he's making it awful hard to be proud of my country. I apologize for the language, but this shit makes angry!!!!!
