I have to believe that a large majority of Americans are not OK with the cruelty, lawlessness, and utter insanity that Trump is inflicting on the US and the world. Will we the global community have the fortitude to truly stand up to this fucking madness, or will we curl up in a complacent ball of fear like Germany did in the 30's-40's?

The irony of this statement coming from another former British colony that also has hundreds of bodies of brown and red people holding up it's foundation is pretty thick. I could write a five page response to this post, but I think the more succinct thing to say is that as we go, you go. Don't let this regime divide us. Being self-righteous feels great in the moment but you're not really doing anything. We're here having this conversation because we do not accept our government.
 
Personally I have opted to structure my business in ways that resist capitalism. My wife does meaningful work that affects the lives of literally thousands of US immigrants and poor working people, and lends her talents to combating legislation that takes away people's rights as human beings. Every day.
