Here we go - an administration laking the strategy aptness of a group of kindergarteners makes a serious military decision

Yeah. With control of "the button".

They broke all rules getting a trump in, guess we can break rules getting him out.

God bless leakers and angry pentagon/Intel lifers.

Shit hitting the fan in droves and the molesting (but "pro-life") orange slob tweets complete garbage.

Curious: what is an acceptable dollar amount when it comes to punishing monsters who kill babies with Sarin gas?

Side note: Progressives suddenly bothered by govt spending? GUFFAW.

I'm all in for punishing guys who use chemical weapons - I just wonder what his long game is or if he has one.

As for spending, I'd rather see it done within our own borders. You see his budget? Cut domestic to the bone and beef up military? That like dad not buying food for the family so he can get a new AR-15

i think the strike was the right thing to do. I'm all in for punishing guys who use chemical weapons - I just wonder what his long game is or if he has one.

50-70 Cruz missiles at $830,000 each - almost 70 million just hit Syria

Looks like our Orangutan-in-Chief is in a military spending mood. I wonder whether this is the opening sortie for a larger rearrangement of the chess pieces. I think Trump wants to make a name for himself on the world stage. The greatest Orangutan in history!

While I think we should have done more, and agree with the short term gain of the recent strike, Obama took this to Republican congress and they did nothing. Then, I stumbled upon his tweets from 2013 that make me even more certain this guy has no plan, strategy, or policy, doesn't care about the "babies", and is just a pathological, egotistical liar.

Shoot first figure it out later - we have such a successful track record in the Middle East doing that.

Thanks for the reality check on right wing principles. Those tweets speak volumes about conservative competence to do anything.
Trump can be rightly criticized for many things. A conservative he is NOT.

Trump is a pragmatist. He cares only for results.

I think 'opportunist' is more accurate. He saw that he could cozy up to the conservatives and so he did. He's playing them for what he can, because he couldn't have run on the democratic ticket. But he's his own man. He uses everybody equally to get him where he wants to be. He uses Russia when they can help (win the election), uses the working class when they can help elect him, uses white nationalists where their vote helps, uses the conservatives where they can help him. It all must make a great story when he's entertaining at Mar-a-lago. If there's any wonder where all of our tax dollars are going, consider how much time he spends at the resort, yacking it up with his millionaire friends. https://www.nytimes.com/interactive...-trumps-visits-to-his-branded-properties.html

So, did he suddenly 'get religion' when it comes to humanitarian intervention in Syria? No, of course not. Its an opportunity to shore up his historically low public confidence, to distract from the Russia investigations, to make him look firm and resolute. He might become addicted to this publicity stunt, for its quick sugar high. I think that he's struck upon a new ratings formula for himself!

That, not to mention the 'mission' itself, was a failure.
Migs took to using the runways 14 hours afterwards.
I think "the deal maker" made another deal...with the "enemy" beforehand.

Pragmatic? - we are finding Jesus in toast now

I'd describe him as - inconsistent, unreliable, careless, unscrupulous, fickle, volatile, frivolous, irresolute, incoherent, weak, sad, "so-called presidential", and insane

Im with you now @Bucknut.

My initial concern with him was a lack of knowledge regarding government, politics, history, etc. But now it's that thin skin and desire to spin things to make himself look shiny. Spooky stuff.
