I am aware that you already know this, but this conversation was about the FACT that Robert Hur DID NOT call Biden “senile“ in his report, and the FACT that he DID NOT state that Biden was too old, too senile, or too mentally unfit to stand trial. Unfortunately it didn’t take you folks long to run with the lies that Matt Gaetz and Fox News were selling you fools.

Did you trust your eyeballs and earlopes when Trump told the world that when he sees a pretty woman he just can't help himself so he starts kissing em' all over and non consensually grabbing their pussies? Nope. It was 'locker room banter". How about when Trump got caught dead to rights asking a Secretary of State to "find" him 11,780 votes? Define "find" was your response. Trumps multi-faceted plan to illegally overturn the 2020 election? (fake electors, J 6th, etc). Lets argue about the meaning of "interference".

I’m with Elon on this issue. Damn near a free speech absolutist. The founders hoped (and expected) that the country they created would be populated by educated and curious citizens who could determine truth for themselves. I’ll acknowledge that we’re slipping on this front. But I won’t stand for government controlling what information I’m allowed to see. I’m intelligent enough to decide for myself what’s true and what’s not. As are you and everyone else on this site.

Sunlight is the best disinfectant, as a Supreme Court justice once famously wrote. If you believe Americans are generally intelligent and decent people, let them read what they want and sift truth from lies without oversight.

I'm really disenchanted with the way information is shared these days from closest friends to strangers on a tree forum. I can't even find a simple answer to a simple question I just had. I was trying to get to the bottom of a Frank Zappa quote I've heard often. 'Politics is the entertainment division of the military-industrial complex.' But the quote might have actually been 'Politics is the entertainment division of industry.' Where's a library when you need it?

I don't think Govt is nearly as much of a threat to free speech as the techno oligarchs. They have control of the platforms we use to actually say the words. For instance, you post about kids dying in Gaza, and instagram hides your stories. I'm so glad you mention Elon! Does banning the term 'cisgender' feel like something a free speech absolutist would do? That dude has an agenda!

A lie is the opposite the truth, and in this case it was a lie to report or claim that Robert Hur‘s report said the reason he chose not to prosecute Biden was because he was too senile to stand trial. You can try and make it complicated, but it’s not.

And need I remind you that your boy Elon has been busy on his own social media site breaking his own rules by posting deepfake attacks on Kamala. Meanwhile the cult members feed at the trough of lies and disinformation as we watch truth die a slow and painful death. So much for intelligent enough?

Recently you folks were claiming that schools are kidnapping children and giving them gender changing operation. Then it was Haitian immigrants stealing and eating all the neighbors pets. Deep state wouldn’t let us hear about Hunter’s laptop a week before the election. And they censored what you were allowed to know or learn about Covid. This is wrong.

I liked your post but I searched cisgender on X and found it. What is the basis for claiming it is banned? Also the government and social media colluded to control speech in the last election.

I'm concerned about both.
 
This is painful. They are both insufferable morons. I can’t believe these two are the best/only choices we have. And the “debate” format is horrific. They just ramble incoherently about whatever they want to talk about. Embarrassing.

I just watched the entire debate this morning and Kamala gave Donald an unmitigated ass whooping. She fucking owned him from the handshake on. Kamala was well prepared and stayed cool, calm, and collected as she broke him down like a angry pathologically dishonest hostile witness, all while offering a positive vision for America. Donny, on the other hand, was on his heels for almost the entirety of the debate and resorted to his same old angry lies, grievances, dog whistles, and extremely dark version of the future (American and household pet carnage). Donny, being Donny, fell for every single bait Kamala set and in his responses he looked old, unpresidential, incompetent, incoherent, confused, wholly unprepared, racist, and frankly fucking crazy. All Kamala had to do was sit back and watch Donny bury himself, and bury himself he did. It got so bad that Donny had to resort to using his friendships with dictators like Kim Jong Un, Putin, and Viktor Orban to defend himself. Fucking brilliant and I urge everyone to take the time to watch the entire debate.

It started early and went downhill for Donny from here.





The fact that Team Trump is already claiming the debate was "rigged", "stacked", and attacking the Mods/ABC tells us all we need to know about Donny's debate performance. When all else fails, play the victim.
