Have you seen the results of Google AI it has been schooled in DEI and CRT and it has basically eliminated white men. It shows the US founding fathers as black people and even made Nazis as non white.

it hasnt been taught anything of the sort, its been programmed by software engineers trying to make a product not teachers trying to prepare children for life. those engineers have been given guidelines by their bosses to try and build what they consider an economically 'safe' product, one which other companies would be willing to buy.

i think its a false equivalency but one based on superficial similarity. companies follow the money and make decisions based on the belief they will make money or the fear they will lose money. thats put us in a position now where we see hypocritical and cynical attempts to exploit the perception of inclusivity while not actually having anything to do with it. like arms manufacturers such as raytheon putting up rainbow flags in june, or the fbi celebrating mlk jr day (for real??) or political parties like the democrats seeking to run candidates who tick identity boxes while firmly towing the party line, like pete buttigieg or kamala harris or whoever else.

Doesn’t this assume that the current status or systems are fair? Fair for who?
Surely, there has been a great deal of unfair behavior that has gotten us to this point. Does the current system reflect treating people unfairly to achieve inequality of outcome? Should we strive for equal opportunity and accept unequal outcomes? Maybe that’s actually closer to meritocracy.
