That's exactly what I am doing, publicly requesting that you tone down your replies to insult people without vulgarities. If you get called a hack, call them a hack in return. That is fine. I am preserving the integrity of this community. And if you remember, there was a flip side to this a few years ago where I reminded a fella to not speak to you in this same manner and he didn't respect that and has since left the building. This isn't a "watch out or you will be banned" warning, rather a professional request to speak and interact a little more civil. And don't worry about whether or not I get paid here. Sponsors know the value with or without one of us. And I am not doing this for the money.

Flashdog , no troll . not on the net as much , cold around here , thought I said my piece on this . I'll put my thirty past years up here against anyone's . One hand , left or right . who says it not right ? The people who don't work with a saw . That's who . Homeowners ( we are them , just ask Tim Walsh) There is a lot more to be worried about in tree work than if you have two hands on your saw . Good luck . Don't accuse me of being a troll . I've been on the Buzz since day 1 . Haven't cut myself since that day either . WORD

Far from it. How long did it take to get back on course? I also do not like to sensor because of a single thread. I'd rather let people be who they are and maintain a professional interactive discussion through sharing views, especially when they differ. I just don't like personal insults to get your point across.
It's easy to be polite when everyone agrees with you, but difficult when they don't.

Bottom line is that an old dog can learn itself new tricks. Rather than getting into a pissin' match with you, (Mark), like TV did with Darin on AS, he chose instead to flatter you, which seems to have done the trick.

Terms of Service Agreement is apparently a buffet where you can disregard the salads you don't like....
"You agree to not use the Service to submit or link to any Content which is defamatory, abusive, hateful, threatening, spam or spam-like, likely to offend, contains adult or objectionable content,..."
 
Flattery is not something I care much for. I handle things based on way more than that, as many know. I do not worry much about what goes on at other sites or how they handle things. I am not overly emotional and my skin is darn thick.

Back to working on the new site now.
 
I'm glad that you two (the admins) allowed us to handle what turned out to be a misunderstanding. All of us have the capacity to be petty. It would have done no good to shut the thread down. Instead, we dealt with our differences and we can now move on.
