    DMM throw hook.

If it hasn't already been mentioned: There is a safety issue when using the Hook attached to the tail of a life-line. If the Hook gets 'hung-up' (which they do) when on the tail a life-line, then there may not be enough life-line to get safely to the ground. A separate line for the Hook can be...

    2016 srtwp redirects

The Munter Redirect is an SRS(WP) redirect that is remotely set-able and retrievable in-tree. It uses only the climb-line and does not use ANY extra gear. So, it's always available. The Munter Redirect is based upon a Munter hitch so that is cinches the redirect and shares some load with the...

Minor Cut Kit -- I've carried a large Cederroth Bloodstopper for years. Thank God, I've never needed it (touch wood). But, I have had some small cuts and such. So, for the past year or so, I've carried this Minor Cut Kit. However, recently I got a small cut on the cheek from a branch. With the...

Some friends, not on FaceBook, could not see these photo's. So, as requested, I found a simple way to make a slide-show and post it on YouTube.

Here's a link (below) to my Geezers 2017 photo album on FaceBook. The link is suppose to work even for those who don't use FaceBook. Let me know if it does, please. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1087909304651472.1073741989.100002972373513&type=1&l=287cb0e4d1

Quickie and the Rubber Tubed Hitch Hiker.

True, Richard. However, diogenes' post also referenced the HH2. The HH2 part of the question was the only part where I had seen any info. I suspect some of the un-availability issues with HH2 related items begins with the dissatisfaction over the sell-out to Sherrill that I referenced.

    XRR sling ideas

Love your sling! (y) Just curious, John … why not put an eye in the end opposite the rings? It seems like a 'dead-end' is a waste. An eye would be a little easier to make and give some extra 'usable' length to the sling. :sisi:

A 'Denture Brush' is great for field cleanup, refueling, air cleaner, etc. -- small, tough, cheap. Kept in the tool kit and in the wedge pouch.

    Matt Cornell Rope Saddle

IMO … loose is better, as Steve mentioned. I like mine very loose, too. It will feel wrong if you're coming from harness that is designed to be worn "tight". My last harness was a New Tribe ProGear 2 - designed to be loose. So, it was a natural transition. For me, the ProGear adjustment...
