What fuel do you use? If you mix your own, how old is it?
Besides that, the first thing I would try is retuning the carburetor, there are good videos on youtube on how to do that, I recommend the one by steves small engine saloon.
Also, welcome to Treebuzz.
I'm using a large petzl swivel, much prefer it over the stock ring on the TM. I often clip to the part my bridge runs through, if I don't want the swivel function. And on my Zigzag w. swivel I clip straight to the bridge with a perfectO, love the compactness.
Our preferred method in adventure parks is girth hitching crane slings around the tree, and the also having a steel cable backup loosely around the tree, because slings are not certified for life support. As long as there is some slack in the zipline (which there should be), the sling will open...
To be clear, it's just the basic saddle that looks like it has uncomfortable leg pads, the expensive new tribes like the Onyx and MB look super comfortable. But I trust you if you say they're comfortable.
Check out Johnnykorthuis on Instagram, he's using one. Don't know if he's on the buzz.
My boss is getting one as soon as the company starts getting an income again. He'll also get their new foot ascender. Will update you guys then.
I must say, if I didn't have and love my TM, I would've gotten...
I don't know about that, I think I would prefer a bigwall harness over that. The legloops look like the strap will dig into your leg through the padding, my old saddle was very similar.
If it had side D's that would maybe be an advantage over a bigwall harness, but there are some that also have...
Looks good if you only hang your saw by the ring. I wonder if a carabiner fits in there. You definitely cant hang your saw by the handle.
Also, 40$ is steep for what it is...
Took me forever to figure out that you don't need a rope wrench to change the tires on your rope... I was really confused, I thought that had to be it, but it's not...
The size to me looks to be in between a small and a large caritool. Not sure which I would replace with it. I would've ordered one from freeworker the other day, but didn't because the didn't have the cross rope in the color I wanted, and didn't want to order just gloves and the kilo...
Anyone tried the Camp kilo yet? Doesn't cost much more than a large caritool, but is aluminum like a vault. Also no nose at all to snag stuff you're getting out, which is my biggest gripe with caritools.
My guess is that you can tune it by movingmore or less bands beneath the wrench. I don't think using no bands like the picture shows is a great idea though.
I do agree with @Rob Stafari that the tether doesn't look that great, since the carabiner doesn’t look like it'll be held firmly. If there...
I don't carry (since I live in Germany), but if I did, I would try to keep it hidden when climbing in a public area, regardless of your state laws on open carry. No need to draw more attention to your than you already do by climbing. I would probably use a pouch on the back of the saddle, if the...
And clogger ist still not CE certified...
Also, I agree with @theatertech87 our regulations are pretty messy at times, the rope wrench being the prime example.
Don't get me wrong, I still love the quickie and think it's very versatile, however I have moved to a ring and ring for canopy anchors and a screwlink or steel biner for cinching, because I can use those at work (no CE on the Quickie). When I still used knotted 10mm hitch cord I would use the...
