This year, a Southern Chapter climber had one shot to get to ITCC, and that was this past weekend. In the rest of North America, a climber has his or her own Chapter TCC and the NATCC for that same shot.
Does anyone else see the problems here? Who exactly is benefitting by...
NER says it looking good for the PulleySAVER in the USA... as in quite soon.
They have to take care of some formalities regarding the CE Lanyard and ANSI, but expect that to get ironed out soon as well.
So everyone who has been telling NER what you want: good job.

Petzl and Faltheimer both now make round ones, no ends to poke through the fabric.

Anyone used the Petzl Eclipse yet?
I saw a couple floating around at internationals last year. Coming out in the US in a couple weeks.
Re: new england \"fly\" thoughts??
I'm glad someone brought the Fly up. You don't hear much about it any more.
I would agree with Nick and others. The Fly's day may have passed. It is very affordable which is a big plus, but I think the splicing difficulty sets it back... in an age where lots...

I've tried both and hate both.

The funny thing is that Weaver designed their version in response to complaints about the Buck version... but recently I've been hearing that the Weaver version "warps" (for lack of a better word) the scabbard making it hard to insert the...
Anyone who has used either the Buckingham or Weaver Handsaw Scabbard that straps to your leg...
I am looking for feedback... do you prefer the straps to be mounted on the back of the scabbard (like Buckingham) or on the front (like Weaver). I have heard that the straps on the front can make...
It is on older Cougars from 2007 and 2008, but everyone should check no matter the age of your saddle.
Please pass the word around.

Having sold his products and having asked the same questions myself... I can tell you that Rich of ABR has a specific type of liability insurance that covers him up to one million dollars...

Some products are CE rated and not ANSI which can also pose a problem.

Mark raises a great point. The standards and ratings do pose an issue.
If I recall correctly NER had a tricky time with Ocean Polyester 8mm because it doesn't meet ANSI in a straight pull. It...

Luke- can you post a pic of it next to a biner or something so we can get an idea of the scale? Or with a hitchclimber or a cmi micropulley?
The regular Pinto is not available just yet, right?

Thank you, Nick. I added a few of DMM's studio pics to give a much better...

Does anybody know where I can purchase Teufelberger products in the US?

New England adds Teufelberger stuff to their offerings on a case by case basis. From talking with them I can tell you NER is aware of the demand for many of these newer products and is working...

why did they copy the original Cinch and even didn't bother to find an original name for it instead of The Finch.

The funny thing is this is an updated version of the Finch... the original version on CT's website looked (and presumably operated) EXACTLY like the Cinch...

Any idea if theyre gonna market the little floater prussik by itself with the thimble?

DMM will be selling the thimbles separately (6mm and 8mm).... so even if Teufelberger doesn't sell that little unit separately... it could always be made.
The DMM thimbles should be...
The good news is it looks like these two items will be available in the US. They have not been released yet by Teufelberger and the US distributor, NER, is monitoring the release.
As usual there is no word on pricing or date.
No sure things in life, but that is mostly good news...

Anyone cares to try again on a bigger scale count me in for help.

I think this needs to happen.
Question is how? Even a large non-scientific study would be a boon.
Those results only raise more questions :)
Good work and thanks, btw.
Not sure if this has been mentioned, but Rock Exotica will rebuild its version of the Unicender.
