Any idea if theyre gonna market the little floater prussik by itself with the thimble?

DMM will be selling the thimbles separately (6mm and 8mm).... so even if Teufelberger doesn't sell that little unit separately... it could always be made.

The DMM thimbles should be available soon (February?)

Chris. The OV loop should only be used when the lanyard is in single configuration i.e. the anchor is created by passing the end of the lanyard around the structure and back to the thimble on the OV6 loop. I doubt you would find the function of this smaller loop satisfactory as an adjuster in a 2:1 lanyard.

Taylor is (of course) absolutely correct, it is possible to create a relatively efficient RADS by passing the tail of the lanyard through the thimble. It is also very easy to create mechanical advantage with pulleySAVERs by attaching a suitable connector to the becket of the Pinto – useful for some rescue scenarios and when you know that you will be returning to your anchor point e.g. stripping conifers from the bottom to the top. I will try to post some images here soon.

Each element of these two assemblies will be available separately e.g. the OV6 loop with thimble (CELanyard), the OP8 pintoLOOP (pulleySAVER). The new cordage will also be available on spools to retailers i.e. OV6 and Sirius11. And the hardware will be sold separately too.

But the certified assemblies are by far the easiest way forward!

Thanks for the encouraging feedback folks.

Nice job again. The videos really help explain the different uses of the multiSLING.

Thank you very much for taking the time to make them for everyone. Keep up the great work!

awesome job Taylor. I can't wait to get my hands on a couple of those slings. I can't wait to try some of your techniques out. Thanks and keep the videos coming.

These look great! haven't arrived in New Zealand yet though... Anyone know if the pinto pulley on the lanyard is the pinto rig? or is there 2 separate/different pinto pulleys?

Taylor can correct me if I am wrong. There are two seperate Pulleys. The Pinto has a max. rope dia. of 13 mm. The Pinto Rig has a max. rope dia. of 16 mm. The one on the CE lanyard is the Pinto pulley (13 mm max.)
