    Well done reduction

I was trying to figure out what I mean't myself, very new territory for me...I did find this though. Isn’t retrenching the same as restoration? Not exactly. “Restoration: selective pruning to redevelop structure, form and appearance of severely pruned, vandalized, or damaged trees.” But old age...

Great watch, funny, sad, exciting and scary. How could you not love Howie. It is because of all these videos and my passion for arboriculture (albeit late), I am the climber I am today. I have to shout out to, Daniel from climbing arborist.com you were my internet introduction and learned a...

    New RCW3001 Bollard by Stein.

I have that same winch mounted on a hoist which is mounted on the side of my dump truck. I use amsteel on it and it works wonders. Sometimes releasing the tension when its slack can be a bugger but that's just the brake doing its job. Best hand winch around, and I've searched.

I tried a buddies Bashlin pole gaffs a few times and they seemed great. For some reason I was set on Gecko carbons :envidioso. Granted I've climbed a lot more on Geckos I have a couple quirks to work out. No matter how I snug them up they tend to roll or turn outwards so they're not in line...

    XRR sling ideas

Thanks John for the heads up on the Double Beast, hope it comes out soon. I watched a couple splice vids too. Your right the locking brummel doesn't look too difficult. So if X Man is Wolverine, then who's the lucky tree guy that gets to be Beast? (or Hank if you will.)
