New RCW3001 Bollard by Stein.

WTF is a crumpet....lol....been here 4 days...still not sure how long I will stay...but it is quite interesting and very pretty...beautiful scenery and trees...no damn palms but no beach either...lol folks

We have nice trees in Barbados...
But no where near as many fun looking ones like this beautiful country....weather is not too bad right now either...though my son is having a hard time layering....

I can see that winch being nice to pull logs onto a trailer etc.
I have that same winch mounted on a hoist which is mounted on the side of my dump truck. I use amsteel on it and it works wonders. Sometimes releasing the tension when its slack can be a bugger but that's just the brake doing its job. Best hand winch around, and I've searched.

releasing TENSION when it is SLACK? Contradictive...no?

I am gonna buy the winch and mount it to my old school bollard I think.[/QUOTE
Yeah sounds contradictory, been up all night sick, starting to sound like espalier tarzan. When I unclip whatever I've lifted the brake doesn't always release easily when I go to feed the rope out. It's not an issue it just needs some weight in the system to free the spool so to speak. Guess me need more tarzan strength to release winch.
