Hey all,
I just had a chat with Tripp regarding the back-order issue and would like to address the concerns around that.
First off, the back-order issues are very much a real problem that is occurring. The reason for the back-orders is simply due to both shops exceeding their sales...
Sorry I didn't catch this comment sooner, and thank you, John for tagging me. I remember bringing this up a while ago too, maybe even as a result of your email. I've asked about it again. Hopefully it's a quick fix that got overlooked. In the meantime, I've put the PDF on my DropBox, and you can...
Hey guys,
We've had a good response, and in an effort to finalize plans, we're rolling with the list of attendees we have right now. I am looking forward to this. If you have questions, please contact Tripp through the email (tripp@sherrilltree.com) you've been communicating with him through...
I don't think the pressure washer would cause the fiber bunching that machine agitation does, but I think it could cause other issues, such as damaging seem stitching. I guess it'd depend on PSI of your washer.
Sorry for the late response. I just got done hand washing all of my pants. The caution isn't related to the detergents used, it has to do with the potential of the protective fibers to migrate if washed in an aggressive machine. Chainsaw protective fibers are loose, and not woven, to give them...
Hey Gang,

Treezybreez is correct, the link is not working. It's weird, the email address displayed is correct (@sherrilltree.com), but if you mouse-over the link you'll see it's wrong (@sherrill.com). No idea how that happens, but if you want to email Tripp, make sure the address is @sherrilltree.com...
I've seen this mentioned a few other spots so I wanted to chime in real quick. Vermeer stores are not property of Sherrill, and luckily have no bearing on the states that require us to collect sales tax.

I'm quoting yoyman's post here, but will be responding to a few others as well. I checked in with Carson over at TreeStuff on these issues and he told me the ATCC code is still active in their system. I don't know why it didn't work, or why someone told them it wasn't valid, but the good news is...
I don't have any explanation for you, sorry. My understanding is that credit and debit cards are considered the same thing by the payment processing component. I could be wrong though. Can you send me a PM with the name you were placing the order under?
Thanks!

I know we are working on ways to improve the processes for our Canadian customers, but I'm not sure what that looks like. I've not followed up on that in a while, so I'll check back in and see what's up.
Your warehouse idea sounds good though. I'll pass that along for sure.

Hey Steve,
I appreciate the response and gravity of your viewpoint. I wish I could produce a wonderfully descriptive playbook to set everyone's minds at ease, but it doesn't exist.
I don't really want to make a list of potential pitfalls because I don't want to imply a lack of faith in the...
I'd like to weigh in, as I think I have a unique vantage point on this whole thing. I started at SHERRILLtree 17 years ago. I've been through the highs and lows, the good and the bad. My role involves creative and marketing, and one of things I've always done is watch our competition.
