I don't fly, Devon.
watched way too many Discovery Channel "Mayday" episodes. Soured me permanently.
I used to be that way, the flight to BC over Lake Superior when the turbulence hit and was rough had me on edge !!!! I had my parachute in my carry on bag so wasn't worried !!! Lol! I know a Dr that could knock ya out before we fly!

I hate flying as well, but if Tripp is paying I might as well. I've only flown once and was just a mess. I need to get over it since I promised the wife if she could tolerate me for 20 years I'd take her to Hawaii. We're halfway there now and I'm getting worried that she might take me up in it. I'm planning on the expo also so might as well keep the mileage down on the old Tahoe. Don't plan on hitting 200,000 till next year some time.
Just wondering. Is everyone else getting an email every time someone responds to tripp's?

I ain't emailed Tripp yet, but reckon am OK with paying my own way to attend Sherrill's shenanigans just as long as Tobe isn't still mad at me :D. Would like to meet you, Sean.

Last time I was in a 172, there were 5 of us packed in there, and 4 of us jumped out. (Intentionally, I might add, not because of plane trouble!)
You could so do this, Dave, if you chose. If the fear is too much, have Devon's Dr. knock you out, and they'll just fly you like a piece of cargo.

I figured business is business and I'll wait and see how things turn out with this transition. Want to say congrats to Luke and Erin for what they have put into treestuff up to this point and I believe it to be a great move for their future. However, why the check are hitchclimber pulleys now $72.95!!!!????? I thought things were not going to change except possibly slightly so employees can be taken care of better. This is a pretty drastic change and I am officially a little worried

That is for the Rapid. The regular Hitch Climber Pulley is still $59.95.
That's true. However, when I got mine it was $59.95 for the Rapide, and $53.95 for the regular. I wonder if that is a DMM change or a Sherrill change?

Edit: Looks like it is a DMM change. Every supplier I have looked up has them at $72

I hope that isn't a 'minimum advertised price' type contract thing. If so I'm not impressed. America I don't think has laws against this. Pretzel (<- funny autocorrect) seems big on this sort of thing and seems to tell the retailer when you can have your 15% off sale.

I'm just curious. I wonder, if the price is still high when your signed in? I wonder if the sale price can be lower when you're signed in. Like a shop could interact with you face to face and say the sell price is lower. What does the retailers contract might say? I wonder who imports DMM? Is ST + TS big enough to have some influence? I super curious now.

Transparency for the customer would be nice here. It would be be nice if someone in the know could explain. Just a little press release or note on a website to make notice of the price change.

I like the DMM products I have, they work great, but this is going to suck cause I can see the price down under going up even more. Grrrr, makes climbing more expensive for no appreciative value gain. 54 to 72 is a big price increase.

If there are folks out there who can't make it and have constructive input or questions let one of us know and we can address those at the meeting. I am willing to be the scribe and take notes to repost a summary here.

Hey Steve, I'm just too far away to consider a such a shirt trip to NC though I really want to see and meet ST.

My professional life brain wants to be part of learning more and even developing the future. It's just the way I'm wired. So, I'm leaning now on you to report back! I really hope the meet up goes well.

Cheers bro, Jason

I've heard an seen a bunch of prices up. Please just keep the website the same. Navigating sherril s website is worse than finding my way around a monster sycamore canopy
