    Cotton is rotten! +1 on everything Steve said. I’ve never worn the Arborwear shirt. I love the Truewerk T.5 short sleeve shirts. I wear em year round. In the summer I soak mine in a weak Oxyclean solution to help remove the tree stains and sweat and wash them once a week.

    Honestly I think Clogger already makes the best pair of pants out there. The anti pick on the right leg of the Zero’s is awesome. I like the waterproof knee of the Ascends and will be getting a pair for next winter.

    Thanks folks! It’s just me working but I’ll get larger cones and maybe park my truck in the lane. I let folks through but my main concern is to keep folks away from my drop zone. Thanks for the tip on the rope too. I appreciate that. I’ll wash it this weekend.

    Chainsaw chipping?

    I’d say no for all the reasons mentioned. You’d most likely be ahead if you rented a small chipper for the day. In my neck of the woods a 6” Vermeer is 175 for 24 hours. Of course 175 will buy you 6 large scoops of mulch. You just want to get rid of the brush or do you need the mulch?

    Nice! I lived in the Hampton Roads area of VA for awhile and felt the exact same as you did when I got back to Appalachia. We are saving up for a trip to CA next year to celebrate our oldest’s HS graduation. Can’t wait to see redwoods!

    Brush trailers

    I just bought a dump trailer and have found that stacking the brush neatly and alternating with trunk wood lets me fit quite a bit more material in the trailer.

    Diesel maintenance scheduje

    pic of the new, to us, set up. I’m going to get a pintle hutch, lunette ring, and will build the sides of the trailer up 2’ with 2x12’s. Thanks for the advice folks. Next purchase: mini skid and grapple.
