If you had to use 1 rigging rope what would it be?

Atlas 9/16 it's basically a 1/2 rope but with alittle extra strength. Plus it fits the 1/2 rock exotica block with swivel great. We use it to pull over trees aswell. Great all around line.

Great info and thank you for taking the time to answer my questions. I'm in Massachusetts and the trees aren't necessarily massive other than the occasional hardwood or tall white pine tree. Luckily my dump trailor is 14" and 16,000 gvw pulled behind a Ram 2500 this might work out.

    The Hoeflon C10

We have been looking for something to increase production as we are a small company "my brother and I" we don't want to get any bigger but want to get more efficient on the larger trees that are more time consuming with just me climbing and my brother on the ground with a Giant 254t. This...

Question about a concept in art and science of practical rigging

It is really awsome. One ring with many configurations. We mainly use it to negitive rig trunk sections down. Using the ring with one wrap on the Porty can easily lower 600-750lbs with the amount of contacr/surface area on the ring. If you under judge the weight "ie. not enough wraps" you still...

Question about a concept in art and science of practical rigging

I'll still use my fiorri ring when we get into the big wood. I feel it gives us more wiggle room as to how many wraps on the portawrap. We love the rings.

    15XP vs 15XPC

I would definitely get the 15xp no doubt. In my mind why would you want a smaller drum. Also that was bandits big selling point that the larger drum was more fuel efficient years ago Also less vibration. Hard to belive a 15" chipper is going for 60 grand. That was how much a 1890xp was in...
