    Flex, a SCL is important as you mentioned but not always NECESSARY if your looking to cut trees... Just gotta stay under 5 bills a day and work solo. I don't think there is any special formula or technique to discover, although you can learn a lot from others and I see where your coming from...

    Flex, it seems like you have the tools and skills to get the trees done. A business license, insurance and some networking is enough to get jobs on the schedule. You've got the treework bug and a willingness to learn and that's great! Keep us updated

    I would say only buy diesel for treework. Turbo Diesel, manual, 4X4 is a MUST!. Get the best 'base' you can afford and build onto that.

    We just got ours, we've been rotating it amongst the climbers and everyone loves it! Great saddle for a Tree Service to get for their climbers... the parts are cheap to replace and the saddle will last a lifetime!

    I've had a pair of TANGO Extreme chainsaw boots from Drayer for a couple years now... awesome boot! Nice find on those TANGO pruning boots, wonder why TreeStuff doesn't have em'?... OH WELL ... I'm getting a pair too!
